just take Rivera=3rd best seasonIf you want to punish yourself "throw" some games against the teams you beat up on (sit your good players against them). No reason to dilute the league.

I don't think that's an option. He has to pick up an available FA.

Yeah, but ideally the 2nd or 3rd is always better than the 4th--so there would be no advantage to that except risk management.

TURNER FIELD - The Bullet Joes today announced self-imposed sanctions resulting from the use of clone players and the wrong seasons in the FBG FFA All-Time MLB theme league at WIS.  While team officials insist that these were honest errors, the result of trying to retro-graft one draft into another (a move which critics have derisively termed "hijacking"), they still felt that these penalties were important for the good of the league, allowing it to move forward and focus on more important matters such as RIBS, Dragons, and multiple alias accounts.

The sanctions are:

No post-season play for this theme league

Immediate removal of the best Nomar, replacing with a SS that can't hold the jock of Pop Lloyd

So your saying it makes total sense that one of the last picks in the draft and possibly in the bottom 2 or 3 starting 3rd baseman in the league should hit like this vs. HOF and all star pitching on a game by game basis? That Ron ####ing Santos should outhit a guy like Harmon Killebrew? If it happens Larry it's BS and adds a completely lucky and unrealistic factor into picking teams for a sim. Plain as that. Again, not your fault but please don't sit there and even attempt to say that it makes sense.

I dont know a good way to actually do it, but if you REALLY want to see how good a team is play a franchise. 12 years, starting with players rookie (or first year actually playing a lot) season and going rookie, 2nd year, 3rd, 4th... and on.
