I told you this team was unnaturally good--it was only by the grace of my great lineup/pitching staff that I managed to get away from King Kelly's with a sweep.
 
4 game series coming up against Koya (I think I'm at home). He's got a 1 game lead on me and a 3 game lead on Spock. Hate to talk about must win games (and these certainly aren't) but getting atleast 2 wins in this series is something I'd like to see. Mickey is hitting something like .182. Great series to bust out of his early season slump.

 
Sue filled out a better all-star ballot than Diana. Might represent her in the avatar for a while if I can get it working.

Also, Sue Bird can fill out a bikini much better than Diana Taurasi. Just my humble opinion, though. :D
 
Charley Radbourn is back in my good graces again.7 strong innings against larry_boy's team. However, Gaylord Perry also pitched 2 strong innings in relief as well during extras. What happened to my pitching chronically sucking? Anyways, I'll take the 5-4 extra inning win over the bible thumper anyday.

 
Never thought I'd say it, but Luis Aparacio at the leadoff spot has sparked my team.Like 11 steals in the past 10 games. Make your time Nipsey.

Least it wasn't bad as having McGwire blow a 2-run lead in extra innings after botching a groundball, then having the next batter tie the game with a HR.Seriously, WHY THE F*** CAN'T WE TRADE PLAYERS?! (Surely someone can use a .260 hitting 1B with power and subpar defense, can't they?)

WTF with the pitching changes? Cy gives up 1 hit through six, only 58 pitches and he gets pulled? #### that. That game was total bull####.

 
Walk off hr for Tris Speaker. Down to 99 stamina so he's sitting today, :wall: . Even against Koya I think not wearing people down early in the season takes precedence.

 
Nips -I got your e-mail and yes, the protest was immediately heard and upheld. No way Cy should have been taken out after only 1 hit and 58 pitches. Apparently there was heavy rain near the server site last night and things may have gotten a bit screwy because of the weather. Anywho, we re-ran the game and you won 6-1. Tell Capella to update the site accordingly.JMSorry about the Nissan, will they play on Monday and are you going?

Walk off homer because my bullpen imploded. That was ugly. Thank god my team rebounded today. Series tied up at one apiece on a very strong 4 Hit CG shutout by Bucky Walters. The 2 run 8th and 2 run 9th last night forced a quick shuffle of the bullpen too. Not acceptable. Great series so far UCONN. We should go H2H like 15+ times I think in the format.

Thanks John. Capella will read this for sure.I got up early and everything and they called it early enough that I didn't have to make the trip to Riviera. Can't go Monday, but may go tomorrow. Looks like rain throughout the weekend though.

Tris was at 99% today so I sat him. Everybody else 100. Mickey Mantle has struck out 34 times in 90 ab's. I wish he'd get tired... :wall:

My catchers go down to Mid to upper 90's and once they get a day off, back to 100. A couple of my players have dipped into the upper 90's, but that is about it.Perhaps because we are only a month or so into the season there is not much fatigue yet? Just guessing here.

And "spruce up" he did. Schriladi has a sub 2 ERA. Of course my team can't hit for ####, but that seems a little excessive to me.
