This is a blatent lie. It may not have been your intent to grab his second best relief pitcher season, but you did in fact end up with Quantrill's second best season as a reliever.

I used his third best season, period... which is exactly what we were could do...

I'm not arguing that at all. I've said your not breaking the rules. You found a way to exploit the rules. You're not going to convince me that not exploiting the rules. If the intent was to not allow Eck to use his best seasons as a reliever, then the intent was to apply to guys like Quantrill as well.

I have been staying on the sidelines because although Larry may have found a loophole, I cant be sure what exactly the rule is. I never mentioned you Larry. I dont (well, didnt) know who reported what. But in general, I think if someone has an issue (1) the adult thing is to handle it between each other (2) it is only an online message board what would bother someone enough to report a post (short of some sort of real threat) and (3) the first two seem even more important when a bunch of other people are involved to.

About reporting - when you decide to join a group of guys to do a draft - even a mess around online draft - when furthermore, you all put 12 bucks down, and use one thread as your common forum, if some things get a little "out of hand" why not keep it in the clubhouse?No need to go reporting, and risking getting the thread shut down. That hurts everyone. If you have an issue, state it here. If you get ridiculed or whatever, then hopefully suck it up and just deal. We have to agree to get along here if we are to do this draft. Larry, there are two issues here.  Lets not co mingle them.

You have some ground to stand on, even if some think the Quantrill deal was shady.  He is a good sim player.  That is fine by me. 

About reporting - when you decide to join a group of guys to do a draft - even a mess around online draft - when furthermore, you all put 12 bucks down, and use one thread as your common forum, if some things get a little "out of hand" why not keep it in the clubhouse?

No need to go reporting, and risking getting the thread shut down.  That hurts everyone.  If you have an issue, state it here.  If you get ridiculed or whatever, then hopefully suck it up and just deal.  We have to agree to get along here if we are to do this draft.  Somewhat at least.  Some kind of stupid online code.  I am sure you would like to be involved in future drafts and things like this, with FBGs.  Dont know that reporting things even if you "have a right to" is the best course of action.  Just my opinion.

yes, I probably have been a little thin-skinned...but some of the stuff in here has been outright wrong on these boards (the straight-up porn links) and deserved to be reported and I'm surprised the people who posted it weren't banned (it must be nice to have pull around here...)

some of the other stuff pro'lly shouldn't have been reported...

and I"m sorry for that... and maybe I was a little naive thinking that they wouldn't delete this thread... if I honestly thought they would, I wouldn't have reported anything...
