*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (5 Viewers)

Isn't this Week 2 over reaction - bet on all the teams that looked poopy against the teams that looked good?  I am looking at you Clark - i mean Bender.
It is but on cursory glance, there's not too much out there that really stands out. Everything I expected to happen pretty much happened. I'm not fading the Cardinals either, I think they are the real deal, even possibly a super bowl contender.

So lets see: In looking at the slate, these are the only possibilities I came up with and the only game that truly seems to fit is Philly, at least in my opinion.  What say you?

Cincy looked OK, but still lost, , CLE was terible - maybe the play is on CLE

Rams looked great, philly is terrible - play on Philly +1

Giants are terrible, Bears came back to win - Play on NYG?

Ravens rolled, Hou got worked  - Play on Hou?

I like where you're going. I was surprised at how thin the options were this year. Seems like we always have 7 or 8. I'm going to watch 2 days worth of ESPN (pray for me) and most something Wednesday evening. I mean Stephen A is ranking the best 5 teams in the league right now for God sake.

I want to fade the Packers reaaaaaaly bad.

Completely agree

I think the narrative would work for KC/LAC and BAL/HOU but I have a hard time fading teams that are that danged explosive.

Best of luck! My response was just an old meme. The only one I'm a bit scared about is the GB. They are going to be a fade for me in week 2.
I do love me some favorites and overs though. Your classic degen just looking for some action on big parlays. I’m not smart enough to make money betting football so I just try to make the games a little more enjoyable.

Is anyone seeing Dechambeau at better than 20-1 to win the US Open? Either way, that's a good bet. Top 20 Top 10 Top whatever.

Dechambeau
Yes.  I’m seeing 22-25 to 1.

i thought I was going to end up fading him in matchups but was surprised to see where he had been finishing at some of these deep rough courses.  I don’t think he’s a good bet to win it but I think he is a decent top 10 bet.

I think Rham is the guy here but at the $$ put me down for Finau.  He’s been top 5 a lot recently at similar courses.

Lions are gonna be paper thin at CB, Rodgers might throw for 500

I took Phil at 80-1 just on the prayer there is some poetic justice.

I think I'm on X at 14-1 as my gut play though.

DJ > Rory -125 *
DJ > JT -105 *
Rham > Rory -135 *
Finau > Fleetwood -125 **
Finau > Reed +105 *
Todd > Speith -130 *
Kim > Kaymer -120 *
Smith > McKinzie -120 *
Hatton > Scott -120 *

Anyone have any database access to find out how 1q and/or 1h unders did for college teams playing in their first game this year?  Just watching the games lead me to believe that it took awhile to shake off the dust...but would like some actual #s to verify.

There are some locals with Golf props that haven’t caught up yet.

winning score over 279.5

number if players under par under 1.5

these have all moved to ~ -150 & -180 Range at some shops but can be found -110/-115.

It really sounds like +6 might win they way they talking about this course

It was +5 for the winner score last time.

Tough course, but we have a much better field now too. 1.5 seems like the about right number. I'd say winning is -1 if I had to guess

Just really a Rory fade weekend for me and a Dechambeau sweat.

Bills looked amazing, Dolphins suck.  Play Mia

Last year was the first losing week we did this in like 7 years and last year I played way too much borderline stuff. I'm not going to make the mistake again. If it's only 2 plays, than so be it.

I spent the week watching ESPN and will break down my thoughts before I go to bed tonight.

yeah hoping Bender rolls in out of nowhere for his week 2 picks, but i am digging Philly quite a bit this week. I played Redskins last week, and I think Philly rips Rams a new one.

what is funny with these lines is that it still feels like linesmakers are putting home field advantage at 3 points. but with no home crowd, it would seem the home field effect would decrease some.

Kind of like this for US Open:

Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Webb Simpson & Bryson DeChambeau All To Make The Cut (+165)

Rory's gonna screw me, isn't he?

My bet would be Dechambeau but it could be any of them.

tiger dropped a Ball yesterday and couldn’t find it.  One bad hit into this rough and it’s a triple.  Could happen to anyone.

Fun fact: Tony Finau has finished in the top ten in 7 of 9 majors he has played in.

The golf guy I’ve been following (@sundogmonkey) who gave me Kim at 40-1 when he choked on Sunday and followed up with Rham at the BMW and X for low 72 two weeks ago said Rham is the play this week.  Also likes Finau and Hatton at the price.   C Smith and B Harmon for top 10.  Likes first round English and Kaymer due to early tee times.  If you have a top Irishman market he likes Lowery to best Rory at 12/5.

Welp I’ve bet way too much on golf this weekend, but my wife is going on a girls trip so im looking forward to a long weekend of edibles, drinking and gambling

and I found out my job is paying back 3 months of 20% payment deferral by the end of the month instead of end of Q1 2021 :banned:

I honestly don't know how you handle it but glad you are good with her
Yo. There's a universe inside of you. That you know exists. Today. Yesterday. Every day that you get a little bit throwed alone, by yourself, you see it. Every now and then you see it. An unexplored universe within yourself. Then what happens?

Welp no way +6 wins this, congrats to u279.5 bettors

Burrow o23.5 rushing imo.

Bengals line is both terrible and injured and Burrow was quick to take off running in his debut when the pocket collapsed. Browns will be in early and often and he won’t stick around. He may get to 24 even without a single designed run just on scrambles.
