5-1 on Duke/UNC salvages a pretty close to break even day on Bovada.  Betonline on the other hand, well, I kinda wish I hadn't deposited there.

 
Maybe it's just a bad game tonight but not sure I get all of the Gonzaga love.  

I mean it's a cool name and everything but they don't look like a top seed tonight.

 
HMMMMMMM. Zags 2H -14 1/2.................big number. Outscored Pacific by 25 in the 2H in the game at Pacific when Pacific led by 5 at half.

As conference tournaments start up, I was trying to remember an angle that we played here last year or the year before.

Was it teams that played the day before vs. the teams that did not, play the team that played the first day in the FH? Anyone remember?

I really know nothing about gambling on soccer. A couple of my books offer under 2 1/2 AND 3 at -115. That seems like the better play, no? Then it's going to take 4 goals to beat me.

Help please.

 
FGCU -11

This conference tournament is not neutral site. UNF won at Lipscomb Thursday and now plays at Gulf Coast Alico arena. UNF lives and dies with Dallas Moore. They were only 8-6 in conference.

FGCU is a much deeper team playing at home where they're 15-3 this season.

Some of the books have a split total,  usually listed like 2.75 where half of your bet is under 2.5 and half is under 3. Wondering if this is what you're seeing.

ETA better chance of winning but vig is worse

Yea. That's what he is seeing. Not to muddy the waters but I think we get 3 goals in this one...but judging on my 1st 3 picks for today I'm as good as crap so this beautiful morning.

Race thoughts:

Penske Fords (Keselowski, Logano, Blaney) should be the cream of the field as far as cars go.  Brad's being the best.  Logano was dragging his splitter in Happy Hour and with this being a 500 mile race its enough to scare me away in matchups.  They tested this downforce package a few times last year and Brad's worst finish was 4th.

Racewise, I expect Harvick to own the bottom line and Larson to own the high line.  Larson was passing cars last week up top without the draft, something that shouldn't have been possible.  Multiple wins in store for him this season.

Going back 5 years and 5 races here, several drivers have avg driver ratings over 100+

Harvick 123.9 avg

Logano 106.8 avg

Kenseth 103.8 avg

Kyle Busch 101.1 avg

Johnson 101.0 avg

Truex Jr 100.9 avg

Dale Jr also has top 10s in 4 of the last 5 races here.

Hard to trust Kenseth and Dale Jr at this point with age, but wouldn't be in a hurry to bet against them.
