*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (5 Viewers)

I've been looking forward to this UFC  card coming up on Saturday. 1st time in a long time put some extra research into picks. have lost the confidence a little, so looking forward to hear what @hooter311 and @TheGooRoo are thinking. Card is going to be a lot of fun, and there is some value to be found (Hooter hits the specifics and props better then i do). I don't think any of the lines will move much, but if there is one i could see move it would likely be the main event:

Miocic -140 1.5 unit

Miocic inside distance +115 .50 unit.

got more, but i like when i'm in the same lane as the other MMA gamblers in here
At first glance I was all over Stipe.  But everything I'm reading about and researching is pointing to a JDS resurrgence.  Nobody has ever defended heavyweight 3 straight so there's that too.

Unfortunately I think Alvarez is going to have a very hard time showing up mentally for Saturday night.

Strongly inclined to stay the course with hooterlogic and fade the fighter coming off the title loss.

I'll hold off there too until lines finish moving.   Under 1.5 rounds at +220 looks to be a tremendous value play as this should be a one sided action fight.

lol, in all honesty this is my biggest concern. But i think JDS has fought twice in 2 years and I think his chin and age are catching up a little. He has a 1 month old in the house and the press with him has been about how he looks good, etc., I just think Miocic has a better path to victory. There 1st fight was December of 2014, and i think the 2 fighters have been on opposite trajectories since then.

it is HWY and anything can happen with this guys, but it has been over a year since JDS last fought and Miocic seems better every time he is out. I will be tempted to take 1st round KO, but i do think JDS lasts longer then that. i've caught quite a few Miocic's fights recently, but the one i haven't seen since it happened is his last one against Overeem. His fight against Mark Hunt surprised me and i don't know what JDS can bring that will dominate Miocic. Not a huge play for me, but i am digging it.

the one's i am worried about are Masvidal, Eddie and Frankie. I like all 3 too much and think my heart is weighing in on my head. Yair is an absolute stud, and Poirer has looked really impressive since returning to 155. Maia has done what a lot of fighters cant and that is improve with age.

i think no matter what i do with that one, it will be light. My argument against the Hooterlogic (and i do believe it has worked more often then it hasn't) is that Eddie is a true veteran in MMA. He talks about how he took more time then usual and couldn't get past his debacle of a performance against Conner. I do wonder if Eddie's chin is finally going though, and at +220 it is juicy

i think she is like -170 right now? I like her to win, not positive if it goes the distance or not (i think it may). Line is set well though, Andrade has looked good switching to Strawweight, but JJ will have a good reach advantage (i think) and will pop her all night long. I'll probably have JJ in a few parlays
Also Andrade shoots for takedowns in straight lines and JJ is really good at snapping her front kick right to your face and sidestepping you.  Bull gets tired in a hurry.

Andrade averages 2.6 takedowns a fight vs the champion's 0.23. I guess the positive for Andrade is that at least she actually gets takedowns.

I started from the beginning with this fight, and I was wrong with my initial assessment, line is probably priced about write.  Thanks for bringing it to my attention E.

I'm pretty heavily invested in the Ducks, a little to win the series, quite a bit to win the West. I let it ride. Good luck. Need Caps and Ducks. Should be a great night of hockey.
Good hit on the Ducks last night.

Although it shouldn't,  Caps' third period shocked me. There was value on picking Pens last night, I just didn't think it would happen after last 2 games.

There was a ton of value on the Pens at +150 or whatever. Actually thought about buying out of that Caps to win the Cup play just based on the value there
but chose not to. Caps had tons of chances, couldn't get anything to go in the net. Pens strategy of forcing the action on the offensive end worked well.
Logic says Pens have relatively clear path at this point, but Preds scare me.

D-Backs are 1-10 O/U in the last game of the series this season. That comes on Sunday and is also the next day they're planning to close the roof at Chase.

Since last June Brew 19-11 SU (avg line 150) as the underdog versus left-handed starters (10-2 SU home). What's more is that Eduardo is a fly ball pitcher who walks a lot of dudes.

I haven't looked up the reach of both yet, but I have heard that the 5'2" they give to Andrade is generous. I think JJ has a 3 or 4 inch reach advantage. Like you mentioned with her kicks, and her ability to pop the jab and move, the takedowns are something that I don't think will be a big factor. I think if Andrade does get her down she needs to in 1st or 2nd and aggressively pursue submission, cause I don't her gas tank will allow her to have solid takedowns as fight goes on. i would like to see the Hill-Andrade fight one more time to make sure i am remembering it the way i think i am

My best friend who I've known since I'm five years old, we are a lot alike. He is a master plumber, but he also acts in Shakespearean plays and stars in major motion pictures. Check it out. He just wrapped a play that he had been doing. I went and saw the last performance Saturday night. And in the play he had to kiss this older blonde chick! Now this morning he sends me this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C_jrBh6VoAAGl97.jpg

Sportsbook.ag are dragging their feet with this recent Bitcoin withdrawal.

What's the matter guys? Getting tired of me gouging you on these softass Golden State lines?

It's mothers day and mine said clear nail polish and tweezers, but I didn't stop there. The lady at Sephora asked who I was shopping for when I bought three of everything for two hundred and forty eight dollars. I said my mom and two other women I know.

Kevin Cash has money against Saw....no other reason to bring in the kid 29 y.o. dude that he did in a 1 run game late.

This bitcoin thing is getting out of hand. It's literally gone from $13.36 to $1833.20 in a little over 4 years.

You would have made $13,700 off a $100 investment. The sick part is that somebody probably did do that and on a larger scale. They'll never have to work another day in their life.

$1,000 would be worth $137,000
$10,000 would be worth $1,370,000

SF went home from the east coast. That hasn't been a good spot for them. Check this out too: Since 2013 NL Central 9-1 O/U at San Fran after playing the previous game at home. Two of those were playoff games but it also kind of ties into the time zone thing. I'm kind of indifferent.

I know people who played on a bitcoin poker room in the early days when a bitcoin was $4-$7 each.  They had a monthly tournament where the winner got 50 coins.  to think that they were playing for almost $100K today..... wow.

that said bitcoin already went from $5 to $1100 to $400...... I get why you may want to hold onto some but I wouldn't want my life savings in it.  This is where I say it hits $1000 before it hits $2500 and someone bumps it in 2 months.

What?  $1833?  I left a couple hundred in there a year or so ago, I better go take a look see. Thanks for the 10x table tho.
