via Wunderdog:  Maryland has scored big vs. poor defensive teams. Maryland's schedule included six games vs. FBS series teams that each gave up 24 points per game or more, and the Terrapins averaged 36 ppg. They also played five games vs. teams that allowed fewer than 24 ppg and they averaged 6.2 ppg. That is a huge difference. Boston College has a very good defense, but was not good vs. strong offensive teams. The Eagles allowed 50.5 ppg to Virginia Tech, Louisville,Clemson, and Florida State. They allowed 13.3 ppg in all other games. The picture here is Maryland was 0-5 vs. good defenses, and 6-1 vs. poor ones. The Eagles were 0-4 vs. elite offenses, but 6-2 otherwise. It looks pretty clear that BC has the edge.

I'd also be curious of the stats with and without Perry Hills. They are much better with him at QB.

 
Back in the day me and my buddies use to go tot he Motor City/LIttle Cesars/Quck Lane bowl and just drink and go out all night.  We chanaged the name of this bowl to the Black Out Bowl.

I remember dancing with Kim Mathers at some club in Detroit/Grosse Pt after one time.

I'd have a drink but I'm all druged up on Norco and Mortin.  ####### stupid back.  Going to see if I can get another shot on Wednesday it's been a year just sucks going through the same #### again but pain seems worse this go around.

Disney was profitable and fun for the kids but man did it #### me up.  I beat this #### last time and was about 85% back to normal I just gotta do it again.

 
Great point. I looked at their schedule and the only "decent" teams he played extensively against were Mich St and Indiana. 1-1. They did score a lot but against subpar Ds. I feel like if anything it confirms that write up.

I just think Maryland has better athletes on both sides of theball.

BC has looked well coached but struggled vs speed 

ETA - Terps only have to cover 1.5. Not asking them to blow them out

UConn fired head coach Bob Diaco after three seasons.

We will miss Bob Diaco's incoherent press conferences more than you know. Over three seasons as head coach, Diaco led the Huskies to an 11-26 record, including 3-9 this year. He received a two year contract extension this past spring, which was supposed to keep him at UConn until 2020. He previously coached at Notre Dame as the school's defensive coordinator.

Detroit got swept by Cleveland in the opening round of the playoffs last season and has dropped five of its last home games to the Cavaliers. Cleveland overpowered the Pistons in the first meeting this season, leading 56-39 at halftime en route to a 104-81 victory on Nov. 18 at Quicken Loans Arena. Irving led the way with 25 points and 11 assists.

right they were bringing 5 every play (2 batted balls), so let's run a play action on 4th and 10, and not allow the RB to help block. These college coaches are so dumb. I really didn't have any money on it, except a bowl pool had MD, but its just dumb.
