*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (5 Viewers)

Just got the call... They are stealing some of my kids off the soccer team to make teams more fair. :wall:

Not my fault you have morons as other coaches

Man early lines have week 4 looking Wong-tastic. I'm not a huge teaser guy, but TONS of games fit my preferred scenario.

Dolphins +8.5
Falcons -2
Patriots -2.5
Seahawks -6.5
Chiefs -1

not to mention others that would work too

Packers -1.5
Ravens +8.5
Cowboys -2.5

For non teaser action I like the Chargers and Broncos, both at -1

Could be an expensive week.

I am on both sides of this..

My soccer team is outstanding. We are boatracing people.

My kids flag football team basically cant move forward and every 2nd play when we are on defense is a TD. If we are lucky.

sorry for the noob question but the 'wong' ive seen referenced here recently. im assuming if its under 3 pts and over 7 you take the opposite?
No, it's where you can essentially "tease" a point spread, usually 6 points, as long as you play it, essentially as a parlay. The numbers I posted would be the spreads if the number was teased 6 points. There are other point total options, like 6.5, etc., but a standard is 6 points in FB.

You want to tease the point spread to cross over the key numbers 3 and 7. So, for example, teasing a dog from +2.5 to 8.5  or a favorite from -7.5 down to -1.5.

Man I get it.. in general it sucks to get your ### kicked.

Last yr in same soccer league we started out 0-3 and got our asses handed to us the first 3 games, I remember some kid scoring 2 goals in about 90 seconds vs us.  guess what I adjusted, worked on things with the kids and practiced a lot.  During the 2nd session we went undefeated and we were the ones crushing the kids.   The problem is the other teams coaching is so inept that he needs a bunch of all stars to even compete.

Like hey don't put your son in goal who couldn't stop a shot from a 4 yr old in U10 soccer, and definitely don't play him 2 qtrs. in a row.   Also don't sit your 3 best kids all at the same time because no matter how hard I try not to score on your team I just can't help it.

Also try to do a little bit of coaching during the game instead of whining to the ref that your kids are being pushed.

I coach soccer and flag football. I legit have 2 kids on my team that are mentally handicapped. There are 14 kids in the whole league (lol). 7 kids on my team, 7 kids on their team. Ages 9-12. I have 5 9 year olds (including two with mental handicaps) a 10 and 11 year old. The other team has 4 12 year olds, and 1 each 9,10,11. 4 of their kids are the 4 biggest kids in the league....and 1 has a better beard than I have. (And my beard is fierce).

We got our #### pushed in this weekend by 50.....We had 3 positive plays the entire time. One of which was on a play we handed it off to a girl (ya we have the only 2 girls) and the 3 coaches on the other team (to just me on our team) physically held their kids so they couldn't run and get her flag until she got across the line of scrimmage. It was seriously embarrassing.

Having said all that, I agree with everything you said. And I have not (and will not) complain about the way the teams were split up. I am just saying...its occasionally legit.

I don't think you are directing those comments about coaching towards me. Maybe you are, not sure. My other son's soccer team, who I coach, hasn't lost a game in a couple sessions and we generally obliterate teams by halftime. We play U6 and legit have good players...and I am lucky to have help as the coach by competent parents who know soccer.

All I am saying is, I understand having a squad that gets drilled and I understand feeling semi bad about drilling other teams. In terms of doing the drilling though....Its hard to stop scoring when there are too many good players. I literally cannot sit enough of them. And the ones that are behind in development are rapidly growing because success breeds success even at that age.

this sounds like a scene from Little Giants

Dez over 4.5 even with him being "shadowed" by PP is awful tempting just because of the sheer amount of targets he gets from Dak

Arians and the under is the angle I'm going to use. Each team gets two touchdowns. I think that -2½ -120 is bait at 5D right now.

saw this little nugget on twitter:

NFL ATS: Ariz vs NFC East 14-1. Dallas 2-7. Dallas Monday fave 2-11. Dallas UND 20-11. Dallas UND rd 13-5.

Nope not at you at the other ####### coaches I play against who have no clue  And yes it has become a challenge to not score to keep it at 10-0  I am playing a man down, giving the other team an extra kid, and pulling my kids past the centerfield on goalkicks, put the worst kids on the team at forward.

Few early props:

Palmer O270.5
Witten O44.5

I also played JJ Nelson TD-Y at +190, but I forgot he's questionable. May want to tread lightly there.

I'm on these tackle props tonight. Arizona crew historically has given out very few assists. Playing for a middle on Mathieu but like U5.5 more.

1u D.Lawrence U4.5 (-105 Sbetting)
1u K.Dansby U8.5 (-115 5d)
.5u Bethea O3.5 (-150 5d)
.5u S.Lee U8.5 (-120 5d)
.5u B.Jones U4.5 (-115 5d)
.5u Mathieu U5.5 (-150 5d)
.5u Mathieu O4.0 (-140 SBetting)

Last night the Raiders had a non-conference night game three time zones away. This week they fly to Denver to open up their division play for the season. It's easy to see why they might have "overlooked" the Redskins.
