*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (6 Viewers)

I work accross the river from Philly.

Decided to take tomorrow off.

Wonder what % will call out tomorrow.

The parade... I anticipate 50% of my shop of 140 will be off.

your stupid post about betting on pats ML instead of props....

you learn nothing ever
So what? Did you have some magic 8-ball to know Brandin Cooks would get hurt and that the Patriots would pass the ball to Tom Brady on 3rd down?

Hindsight is 20/20. I grabbed Patriots at +155, I’m fine with how my night went. I’d rather do what I did, take guaranteed money from Frosty and lose my Patriots ML at +155 in the 4th quarter than to chase a bunch of silly props all week.

Welp, if I wasn't convinced before, I am now.  The announcers definitely eff with us.  Making the Hall of Fame the night before and having been THE MAJOR story in the precursor to this rematch had no influence on a TO mention in this Super Bowl.  Al Michaels knew the props, and Al Michaels decided to steer it.  Never again.  Never.  Eff.

And yet....I STILL had more fun betting all my props and hitting Yes Timberlake covers Prince and White Shoes and America The Beautiful over and about breaking even than Stumenince had.  Also I won our party's prop sheet AND the end of game square.  So all in all a good night, the Evil Empire lost, and I made money, and now the 2nd most obnoxious fanbase in the NFL can celebrate their championship.

That's not what happened at all.  They were supposed to go through all the Hall of Fame guys coming out of like the second or third commercial, but they ran late and could only get through 5 or so of them.  If TO is further down teh line he gets mentioned, if they come back from break with more time, he gets mentioned.  But that was the one shot because that's when they were announced in stadium (I assume) so that's when they were all lined up.  Lots of bad luck to lose that, but it's not a conspiracy.

Dummy.

Per @WilliamHillUS: "multi-million dollar loss... Three bets alone, all seven-figures, cashed for a total $4,634,782"

Per @TIvegas Tony Nevill on #SuperBowl  outcome: "This was a horrible outcome, and one of the few times where props were so disastrous that it ruined the whole day." Likely reflects mood of many sportsbooks. @Covers

I think you are partly right. TO wasn't there this weekend, so even if they went down the line he wasn't in line.  BUT, you may be right, maybe his name is mentioned if Al has more time.  I am not really yelling conspiracy, as much as Al tweaking folks that bet.  I am pretty sure Buck admitted he does the same in the last couple of years.  Either way, dumb to overbet it.  Really need to learn from this pain.

ETA: I bet it at -150 last night, and it was -500 today so I got a good line.  So probably you are right, just bad luck.

Are you sure?  I saw an interview with him earlier this week where he said he would be there.  And why wouldn't he be there with all the other Hall of Famers?  Are you a dummy?  You might be a dummy.

I might be.  Saw a video last night of the HOF pres going to the hotel rooms and welcoming the inductees to the HOF.  I commented why no TO and someone responded he stayed home for a basketball tourney event or something.  I've seen zero clips of him there this weekend, and seen clips of every other inductee that was there.  But yes, it is likely I'm a dummy.

I agree you are probably a dummy.  But this is interesting on TO.  Shame we will never know since Al Michaels conspired to steal your money.

There were also a few group photos of the inductees and TO was also not in them.  I honestly don't think he was there this weekend.

TO was at Chris Paul's celebrity PBA bowling tourney today. It was james harden's fault.

Good day. $300 to win on Eagles +4.5, $150 on money line at +180, $30 at 10-1 on Alshon first TD, Elliott over 1.5 FG’s, first score FG, FG longer than TD score. Only thing that would have been sweeter is Clement for first TD at +3500. Almost

Over a grand for the day on the SB and $600 betting 3 horse races right before.

In an interview with Howard stern last year buck stated that most of the will the announcers mention "x" bets we're dumb, they're focused on the game.

19.6% ROI on my super bowl bets mostly thanks to filthy frosty.  Would have been about 24% if I hadn't mistakenly bet Dion Lewis over instead of under  :wall:
