Rockies for a sweep, eh? No play for me. Already wet my beak on the Rockies the past two days.

Have to think the Giants can pull off at least one win at home. Plus, I like Stratton as a scrappy starter in this position.

Tricky day of gambling. I've got $1,750 of house money with a full slate of baseball, a horse race, and NBA playoffs to cap.

I don't want to lose on MLB and the Preakness... only to play catchup on the NBA game. The ripper must live and decisions must be made.

Eta, from what I can see, Giants haven't been swept at home. They've gotten swept many times on the road.

Justify to win Triple Crown +145

What's with that line? Isn't the Triple Crown like incredibly rare? The Celtics are +215 to win in Cleveland tonight.

You're telling me it's more likely Justify wins the next two races than Boston has a chance to win this one basketball game?

If that's the case, just take the juice and play a few longshots? Right? I mean, +140 tells me you know this horse already won the race.

Lone Sailor over Quip -120

Diamond King over Bravazo +145

Not much went into these, the first one is kinda going by the old “of this horse was any good he’d have ran in the Derby” angle, plus Lone Sailor the only closer I believe so should come with a late run and pass some horses

Bravazo was in the Derby but I don’t think he’s any good so just taking a stab at another horse at plus odds

not even sure I’ll get to watch the race, I think we’re going to see Avengers

Olcyk. He gave his picks on NBC right before the race so I tailed. I doubt it pays much, the favorite won and he had terrible odds. Second horse was 5-1

$2 exacta paid 11.60. Whoo whoo.

Not at all. He really wants to fight MMA and has 13 years of TaeKwonDo behind him already.  He started at age 3 (his crazy idea and I quote.. "I want be to a Power Ranger ". 

Anyway, he cant fight MMA until age 18 so boxing is the next logical step.  He will do this for while while continuing to mix in BJJ and Ground Grappling. His gym won't let him fight MMA until he also has at least a handful of BJJ matches underneath him, but they wanted him to start with boxing. 

As a parent you don't want to see your kid in harms way but he is going to chase this either with or without the support of me and my ex, so the best I can do for him is make sure he is at the best possible place for it.

I already played 7/5/2,6,8

I’ll tail his 7/5/8 straight tri for a couple bucks. Let’s go.

 
Eddie likes the 8 as the 3rd horse. I laid the juice at -260 for Justify to win outright, I played 7,5,8 as the trifecta and I boxed those 3 horses as well.

Welp. That turned out horrible. Had all 3 horses, just not together. Eff me.

 
I'll just have to deposit some Bitcoin into a different book. No excuses.

ETA: I can't do that because I can't rely on BTC to transfer right away. Sometimes Blockchain runs like crap.

Got suckered into u2.5 k on Romo who was only going to pitch the 1st inning or 2 against the Halos. He only pitched the 1st but struck out the side.   :wall:
