*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (4 Viewers)

So, apparently they filmed the Puppy Bowl in October. Wish someone had connections that could let us know the score in that game.

So transferred some Bitcoin from blockchain to coinbase at 7:30 this morning.   Still pending

Hopefully it doesn't take dive before I can transfer to my bank

it's a lot easier than any other way for withdrawing but 1.5% fomr coinbase sucks and so does the timing of everything

Sportsbook is a square book. That doesn't mean anything.
It means something to me since that's primarily where I make my plays. I am hoping to get ATL +3.5 if they get enough action to move the line, so I'm happy to see the -105.

Since 2002 opposing teams getting a field goal or more are 4-0 ATS versus the Pats. Here are all the Super Bowls since then, broken down from underdog point of view: link

Holy crap Bovada has the Pats at -3 -125!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Not sure I get the book snobbery, but okay. From what I understand the majority of folks here have accounts with Bovada and Sportsbook for props. Are you saying if you liked Atlanta and could get them +3.5 from either of these books, you'd turn your nose up at the action because its not with 5 dimes?

Such an odd mindset, but  if it works for ya.

I'm just saying Sportsbook is one of the last places I would consider to gauge where "money is coming in"

Also just wanted to mention that NFL games land on a margin of 9 less than two percent of the time and it's the weakest number to have on an NFL underdog out of all the possible numbers you can be holding.

My guess is if you like New England take the -3 now.  If you like Atlanta, wait and should be able to get the hook.
that would be my guess as well, but with the way Atlanta disposed of GB and SEA so easily, might could see the public backing them.  square money so far is certainly on NE, but it's way early.

Yeah, I think square money typically bets the "elite" offense early and doesn't properly value an elite defense for the SB.  Denver (off) vs Seattle (def), New England (off) vs Seattle (def) and Carolina (off) vs Denver (def) the early square money was very lopsided for the last three years.

Definitely agree with your statements as both teams looked impressive.
