flying out Wednesday AM 9:30 flight.  I didnt know you could bring mini bottles thorugh security but I know now.

Staying at Venetian.  Most likely poker tourny Wednesday night

Ellis island all day Thursday they have William Hill book, then again Friday morning.

Flying back Saturdsay night non red eye.

Venetian is the isht.  If you can find an office chair for any part (maybe Wed night) the screens are ridic.  

 I think I mentioned earlier I carry my backpack with liquor in it.  I am a walking cocktail bar.  Super easy.   Minis onto the plane also a :moneybag:  play.  Technically the airline refuses them but the PTA does not so you are golden.  Ellis Island surf and turf is money too.  Dude I am SOOOOO jeally.

Are you for real solo?  Or are your buddies meeting you there?

ETA:  You might wanna place the majority of bets at Venetian. The Will Hill book is a kiosk at most places. Like Redbox at 7 pm on a Saturday.  Pretty sure it is at EI as well. Line might be prohibitive Thurs/Fri mornings.

Derek Stevens, who runs The D in downtown Vegas, laid 11k on every 1st round (or play in) game in the tourney on VSiN this afternoon.  So fun to watch.  He got the lines from Chris at SouthPoint and made his play just before posting, so lots of movement since.  But dude is putting up $352k.  Great pub for VSiN and Vegas.  His plays, which obvs only I care about mostly cause I have had several Sunday Vodka/Sodas:

boss is going to be there too and staying at venetian

heard book at hill at ellis is nothing and should be pretty short.  Since not techincally watching at a book I should be able to make some bets on chromebook too

Nice.  yeah, they market their apps/deposit+online betting pretty heavily.  As long as it works seems easier.

January 2016 I deposited at the kiosk at WH in EI to use the app on my Android. Wouldn't geo-locate/authorize me as being in Nevada, had to haul ### back to EI to get my money back and go cash after being fit to throw my phone through the wall trying to bet stuff. I'd assume they've worked app issues out since then, but double check before you deposit money at the kiosk.

He owns a casino, so is the play here to fade every single one of these? I'm thinking the 352k is probably a marketing expense for the D's P&L if he owns it, where Derek could make a ton more off of the public playing these if he knows the picks stink and the public reaction is "OMG I'm playing all these if this guy played them for 11k each!!!!!"

I remembered this. That's why "as long as it works" was included. :)   I was in Vegas in Nov '16 and didn't even try.

Honestly, I think it is no play.  This is a guy like you and me, except with lots of cash.  I just think it is fun to track him.  And yes it is totes P & L so he can write off all losses as pub.

I was wondering if he was picking against who he thinks the public would take.

He doesn't need to pick winners, he just wants money spread evenly.

 
Derek Stevens has a history of big plays. A couple of years ago, when Michigan State started a season 3-3, he walked down to the Golden Nugget and put down $20K on them to win the title at +5000. When they got to the Final Four, he had a very live million-dollar ticket...and yes, he is not one to waste a marketing opportunity. He watched the game from the head of the main casino bar, where he spends a lot of his Saturday nights. It was a good time.

broken down into 10 minutes with the fouls and no more 1-1.. but I think you shoot them 1 later... So techinally I think could get 6 fouls in first 10 minutes, it resets, and get 6 fouls in the 2nd set of 10 minutes and there would be no 1-1 and never shoot on non shooting fouls.  But if a 7th was made then they are shooting 2 the rest of the way.

I havent really thought about it but would think maybe less points in the first half? and more in the 2nd I have no clue really would have to see fouls per half breakout

Harder for a team to come back too. You can't foul and hope somebody misses front end of 1 and 1. You have to have 5 fouls in 4th quarter to force 2 free throws. Helps out big schools/favorites IMO.

 
That was the worst weekend. After waiting and waiting - looking forward to it all week - it was raining so all we did was chill on the couch. What's worse is that I must have thought my #### didn't stink for some reason because I said no - multiple times - when she asked if we could "go to the bedroom," multiple times, along with numerous other sexy invitations she suggested that I'd list if they'd pass through the language filter. Then to top it off I woke up alone in the morning next to a piece of chocolate cheesecake I fell asleep eating. So not only am I frustrated for not sealing the deal for whatever reason, I ruined my brand new Mariah Carey t-shirt and now have to explain brown stains on white rabbit fur throw pillows to the cleaning lady.
