*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (4 Viewers)

They are my top five picks of the day, so either way is ok. But if I do a $10 wager, I risk $260 and can win up 2400. If I win four, like last night, I win about 800. Three gets me close to even. I understand most seasoned gamblers think parlays are stupid, But I like to go for the big kills and staggered (start time) games provide some great hedging opportunities.
Thanks, works for me. I played the five separately and then a five team parlay.

Saturday Playoff Pucks:

I played the Blues at +160 to buy myself out of my Wild futures, but my numbers do call for a Blues play anyway, so it's a play either way
Wild/Blues U5  -130

Everybody be all tryin' to score runs and whatnot. I went with them twankies sittin on dubs know what I'm sayin. Rims spinnin you need to get you some of those Iversons.

Not as good as facook story, but the just turned 7 yr old who is in first grade got punched in the stomach in gym class this week by some 8 yr old who got held back.  7yr old is too nice and not an ####### like me so he didnt do anything, he said he gave him a little poke back.  Try to teach him its ok to punch back and defend yourself vs bullies but the school makes them think he will get in trouble if they do anything.

Anyways guess which team we played in soccer this mornning.  Yep little ####o 8 yr olds team.

Guess who scored the first 3 goals of the game.. Yep my 7 yr old

 Final score 7-2

#### you little 8 yr old
Every bit as good holmes. It is amazing how good seeing your kid triumph makes you feel as a dad.  Way to Swirve Jr!  Eff that 8 year old dbag!

On STL ML +160

MIN has had better play but STL better goalie. Was expecting odds closer to even

Did you throw your hat on the field?

UFC Fight Night 108

so much for that extended hiatus...will have race picks tomorrow too.  I'm about half way through the card, but here's what I got so far:

Scott Holtzman vs. Michael McBride
PRELIMINARY CARD | LIGHTWEIGHT | 155 LBS | 3 ROUNDS

Holtzman should beat the brakes off McBride who has possibly the worst striking defense in the UFC.  Holtzman is an ex-hockey enforcer, but he might be outmatched on the mat.  Fight Won't Go to Decision -120.

Jessica Penne vs. Danielle Taylor
PRELIMINARY CARD | STRAWWEIGHT | 115 LBS | 3 ROUNDS

Penne has fought twice since 2014, and they just happened to be the two most hellacious beatings a woman has taken in the Octagon. Under 2.5 rounds +290

Cindy Dandois vs. Alexis Davis
PRELIMINARY CARD | BANTAMWEIGHT | 135 LBS | 3 ROUNDS

Dandois is awkward at best as an athlete but she is a finisher and should create plenty of opportunity for both fighters.  Under 2.5 rounds -108

Bryan Barberena vs. Joe Proctor
PRELIMINARY CARD | LIGHTWEIGHT | 155 LBS | 3 ROUNDS

Barberena appeared to have a terrible weight cut on the scale, still I find it very hard to trust Proctor here.  Fight Doesn't Go the Distance -105.

Hector Sandoval vs. Matt Schnell
PRELIMINARY CARD | FLYWEIGHT | 125 LBS | 3 ROUNDS

Schnell has an ultra-aggressive guard game and Sandoval should be hunting for the takedowns.  Sandoval probably takes the decision, but I don't think he has a chance to get it there.  Schnell Inside the Distance +285

i'm going Ortiz and letting my balls hang out with Sanchez +285

I think the value in the Ortiz fight is Moreno Inside the Distance +620.  Not an Ortiz fan and that looks like the best spot to fade.  Really like the ceiling on Moreno as a prospect.

I thought Al retired to sell real estate in Jersey full time a while back.  You shouldn't be -400+ coming off a two year lay off no matter what the matchup.

yeah good call with that number on Moreno. Heard good things about Ortiz after his recent downturn. but yeah, I don't think Al wants to be there either. and against a guy like Sanchez he could pull off one of his judge robberies

ETA:  i don't know what to make of OSP either, thinking De Lima

I was going to be all about De Lima, until he weighed in at 210 yesterday.  Now I don't know what to do...

Since 2012 the Nats are 36-14 SU in Queens (11-3 SU day; 4-0 SU Gio/day). It's Gio's first road start. He's 10-3 SU career at Citi Field with 17 runs allowed in 82.1 innings pitched.

My gay friends want me to do it with one of their women friends, and they have really bad taste in women. She is kind of a wildabeast and is like 15 years older, but she's real elegant and voluptuous at the same time. You can tell that she tries really hard at her look, and she probably has a little money, and I'm usually down for stuff like that. I might have to bag me a wildabeast; a grateful, voluptuous wildabeast.

Per @TheMirageLV Scott Shelton on LAC-UTAH: "We're gonna get annihilated if Clippers win by more than 1.5." @Covers

2/ More on LAC-UTAH per @TheMirageLV Scott Shelton: "We got hit by 2 players, both on Clippers, both 6-figure bets." Line LAC -2. @Covers

i think Hooter was on the other side of this one, but Penne should obliterate Taylor. Penne will throw her around like a ragdoll, Taylor is in the wrong weightclass

Penne -130

If you're a winning bettor, parlays/round-robins actually increase your win-rate. If you're not, you lose faster. Parlays are an accelerant, essentially.
