*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (14 Viewers)

I think we have a good under ticket here.  The purpose is to get the middle but I think I'm just going to take the under unless we see two quick TD

Vegas Prop info - mostly courtesy of the Ref....I added a few tidbits at the red text

Westgate

  • Wednesday afternoon (for Thur night) and sat afternoon (for Sunday and Monday night) they make a prop card. All .10 lines, all 1K limits.
  • All together they had 13 player props listed and had a mix of comps/yards/rec/TD's. They offered mostly "stars" no totals on the Steelers 3'd string TE.
  • Very impressive but if you're in town and the two games offered stink for props it could be a headache. Lines were fairly soft IMHO.
William Hill

  • "William Hill" sportsbooks cover mostly low end casinos around town. 4 queens, the D, Binions downtown on the strip you are looking at the Casino Royal.
  • They had a robust Sunday/Monday night card. What made this place stand out was 2 things.
  • They will book $50,000 so long as you register for a player card (my guess is that would only last a few plays). Even still they will book $1K without one.
  • They had a "full" card for Sunday afternoon. Def wasn't a robust card all yardage props for major QB and RB, 14 in total.
  • It should be noted that the lines were a little better than I would have thought. I sent them to Swirv and he agreed but we did manage to pick out a nice Andy Luck over that cashed (by 4 yards, but a winner is a winner).
  • The Sunday night card was more like the Westgate and others maybe with a little more depth as they had reception lines on Witten.
Ceasers told me to F off. No player props outside of the super bowl.

Palms & Station

  • Palms and the Station casino families were Sunday/Monday only.
  • The Station book manager kept trying to point me towards the adjusted lines sheet as his "props". When I asked specifically about players he said they would have a few but they don't get posted until 2.5 hours before kickoff.
  • Of all the properties that I asked around about player props this was the only place where I got the feeling they didn't want me around nor did they care for the line of questioning. Most other places were very candid and open.
  • El Cortez (Stations) didn't have any of their props until Sunday morning (well, I guess it could've been Saturday night..but I didn't check) - they had 6 for the London game, then 12 total for the "regular" day games, then another 6 or so for the SNF/MNF games each
M Life/MGM

  • the "m life" or MGM properties had a nice prop card for Sunday night before I left. Maybe even a little better than Westgate/Hill in fact because it was less yards and more Comps/Receptions.
  • Swirv saw the card here and there were a few leans but Dak under comps came in big for me. $1000 limits, no questions asked. Lines were .15 and they had some lines shaded so it seemed like they were on top of things.

Last time Giants were shut out in the 1H was Dec 11, 2016 versus the Cowboys. They were trailing 0-7 at halftime, scored 10 points in the 3Q, and won the game 10-7.

@The Ref  Do you remember where these places posted the player props?  On a sheet, the board....?  I know Will Hill will be on the PowerBALL kiosk but I wonder about the others.  Probs gonna run around Vegas on my guys' trip in November trying to win dolla dolla bills y'all.

They will all be sheets.  You need to really look for them.  I'll be there end of this month and will give a full report out.

ETA: If anyone knows if these sheets are posted anywhere online (likely need someone to take a pic and post to a site)...let me know, would be super helpful.

It was all on sheets except the westgate.

And at the westgate they will have some but not all up on the board.  If you go up to a kiosk they will print you out a list.

Thanks homies.  Wish I was down there next week for @John Bender OVERREACTION WEEK 2 and props.   This Sunday has really sucked from a fantasy standpoint. Made good $ on props just line shopping tho.

I played a card of props at a Will Hill property beforethe SB. $1k limits, no adjusting of the lines, just a dumb sheet with all of their stupid bets on it. Pretty glorious.

Okie St. -13 (2U)
Clemson -2 1/2 (2U)

Also like:
S. Carolina -6 1/2
K State -3

but those games aren't available at any of my books yet. I believe I first saw K State at 2 1/2, it may be over a FG by the time I can get it.

giants packed a bunch of bags and equipment. loaded all their gear - an entire team's worth of equipment onto an airplane. flew to texas. stayed in a hotel. all that stuff. so they could come out onto the field, kick a field goal, and then go fly back home

Clemson -2.5 for me all day.

Anthony Lynn and Vance Jospeh are the two new HC for the Chargers and Broncos. And Broncos' OC Mike McCoy just got done coaching the Chargers L4 seasons.

I don't think our Flowers bets were looking all that great anyway but it sounds like both the UCF and USF games may get canceled for this coming weekend as well.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't find a way to play the game this week.  I'd be shocked if Flowers was in the Heisman top 5 at seasons end

Oh cool moved into our other building on Friday.   Came in this morning and all gaming sites blocked.   Can do most from my phone but still sucks

Use cell phone as hotspot, bring your own tablet/laptop to work, problem solved
That's a lot of effort.   Plus i'm already using my company cell.   I can get xfinity wifi on my phone so I don't have to use data (usually go over my 2G limit but i've never been reprimanded)

Think I can disconnect laptop from network and get xfinity on there too but it's pretty slow

Mr. Lambskin just wants you to empathize with him stop trying to solve all his problems all the time. Does your company get mad at you when your friends send you nude selfie pictures of women they've received because my buddy's company does.

Broncos fade

They're coming in with a brand new head coach, a brand new offensive coordinator, a brand new defensive coordinator (promoted Joe Woods, former defensive backs coach), and a quarterback who was just named the starter three weeks ago.

August 25th:

Under-the-radar story line heading into training camp: Can Shane Ray adequately fulfill DeMarcus Ware's role across from Von Miller? There's evidence from 2016 that he can, and that he has the potential to be a Pro Bowl edge rusher. But he's got to actually do it. And if he can't, then a lopsided pass rush could tip a whole line of dominoes starting with more double and triple teams vs Miller, more time for QBs to throw, and greater demands put on the secondary. If the Broncos' historic pass defense is going to regress this season, failures across the line from Miller might be the most likely culprit.
September 2nd:

Broncos placing former first-round pick, LB Shane Ray (wrist), on injured reserve but plan to bring him back mid season, per source.

Yo, what's going to happen if the Saints are public dogs - really popular public dogs - and everyone wagers on them and they subsequently lose, is everyone who bet on the Saints going to try and chase their losses in the late game..?
