*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (4 Viewers)

The 97-yarder camouflaged a lot: Big Ben's dumb ### pick, Bell's weak ### fumble, and the red zone "issues." That game was really poor. So poor. If you won and covered with the Steelers it's almost as much of a "Lions' loss" as it is a "Steeler win." The red zone stuff on both sides was just bizarre.
Yeah that's what I get for thinking theyd overcome those red zone struggles in the 2h

Stafford with 423 yards and no touchdowns, thought that was a weird stat line....looked up the record for most yards without a TD and found this

Elias Sports Bureau Stat of the Day

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford broke an NFL record as well.

He threw for 443 yards without throwing a touchdown pass. That's the most passing yards in a touchdown-free game, surpassing the mark of 441 set by Joe Montana for the 1986 San Francisco 49ers.

Guess that's kind of his thing

I'm in an NFL pick'em contest at work.  My company headquarters is based in Canada, I just assume the NFL is like their second language after the CFL, but maybe not.  28 participants, 27 from Canada, me from US.  8 weeks in I'm in a 4 way tie for 20th place.  There is a 4 ways tie for 1st between CHERYL, ERICA, LAUREN, and Steve.  Danielle, Vanessa, and Karen are in 8th, 10th, and 12th respectfully.  Several times per week I'm harassed on my lack of football knowledge.  I would take it to HR, but the HR manager (Angela) has won 2 of the weeks and she'd probably just laugh at me too.  My boss, who probably can't name 3 NFL players, gives me weekly tips and I just nod my head and say OK, OK, oh wow thanks.  I want to say listen, I'm thegooroo, but they'd just say "you're what?  In the US is a gooroo someone who sucks at picking football?"  :sadbanana:

Propose a CFL pick'em league next year and dominate, it's your only option here

Kelce O5.5 (-115)

Willing to break my no overs plays for Kelce tonight. I need him to score less than 13 in my high dollar fantasy league

Other props I'm looking at with my projections, followed by what I have seen posted on my one local who posts early:

A. Smith U23.5  (21.5)
A. Smith U264.5 (238.5)
Hunt U87.5 (76.5)
T. Hill U68.5 (57.5)
Kelce O60.5 (63.5)
CJ U62.5 (57.5)  ...............this one showed 62.5 when I logged on, when I went to play it it dropped to 57.5 :wall:

Also hit Broncos U17.5 (-115)

Those lines are amazing, I'd kill to have those lines

The numbers in parenthesis  are the posted lines. I have one local that always posts early and adjusts, this is it. It's also the one that posts props on all of the Nebraska games, which I did ok on early in the season, but his numbers got pretty tight.

Oh I see, the projections are the amazing lines, the parentheses are whats available, never mind then.  The parenthesis numbers are widely available.

LV Knights/NY Islanders Over 5.5 -110

These two teams are red hot with top 10 offenses. Las Vegas has scored 19 goals in their last 5 games and the Islanders 20. I look for the scoring to continue tonight in a shootout in NY.

I was looking at this too and kinda surprised they didn't hang a 6 on us.

Made we wonder....then it made me wonder if in 2nd guessing myself...then I just went back to looking at soccer

I looked up that rule last night: Can you just shove someone into the dude trying to make a fair catch? The answer is YES you can blatantly shove someone into the dude trying to make a fair catch - but ONLY if he is already engaged w/ blocking another player. If he is not engaged and just chillin' then it IS illegal.
