*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (19 Viewers)

I will. I was going to buy the Fresno team total but will just sit tight with what I got. Here's why I think it goes down in Fresno's favor today:

In 2013 San Jose State (+9.5 home dog) spoiled the 16th-ranked Fresno State Bulldogs perfect season. They beat them 62-52, and Fresno went on to win the MWC Championship the next week.

New Mexico (+10 home dog) beat Air Force in the last regular season game of 2015 by a score of 47-35. Air Force went on to lose the MWC Championship the next week.

And then last season both MWC Championship-game teams lost in the last week of the season by a combined score of 119-66. So I guess I like the over more than I like the side, but since they've started playing the MWC Championship in 2013, teams looking ahead to that game have gone 4-4 SU and 2-5-1 ATS:
Home: 4-1 SU and 2-2-1 ATS
Away: 0-3 SU and ATS (avg line -7) 55±8 points allowed
cool stuff...  Fresno is the team that has zero to play for today.  There is no reason to show Boise anything that could help them win the next week.

Where are we standing on the NFL ROY? I didn’t get in on Hunt like most of you did, but I see he’s actually at better odds than Kamara right now. Do you still feel good about Hunt winning?

With NFL MVP, any chance Wentz beats Brady? Both are still at pretty decent odds though.

And will the Browns actually win a game?

If the Aggies historically aren't too familiar with the Falcons, Utah State coach Matt Wells sure is. This will be the 13th time that Wells has faced the Air Force Academy as a coach, and he says there's something about a Falcons team playing its last game of the year, particularly at home, that should keep Utah State on edge. "I am very well aware of what the atmosphere is going to be like on Saturday night," Wells said. "Our players will be very well aware. This is a team that will fight their guts out, and we will get their very best shot. They have over 30 seniors."
Wells is 2-2 in his meetings with Air Force as Utah State's coach. But he's also been an assistant for three games with New Mexico and five times with the Naval Academy against the Falcons. "I just know, from coaching at an academy, when there is no bowl game coming up and that's the last game, it's very well the last game of their careers," Wells said. "It will be an emotional night for them. We will get their best game of the year, and I know that and I respect that about them."
I got Air Force at 9-8 SU in the last game of the regular season the L17 years: 6-1 SU at home and 3-7 SU away.

Air Force -113

Hunt great schedule ahead.

If didn't already have a bunch of him but I would probably get more at the current price

Thanks - all I have is Kizer at this point but thought the Hunt price looked good. Kamara is hot but Hunt’s overall numbers are better and he has that nice schedule.

Four times as much money has been bet on Alabama as has been bet on Auburn @CaesarsPalace books.

More money has been bet on the Michigan St-Rutgers game @WilliamHillUS than has been bet on any other game today. 97 percent of the money bet on the game is on Sparty. CC: @chrisfallica https://t.co/JdSxvIpkaV

Rutgers was shut out last week. And they were shut out last year in the Michigan State game. Since 1982 teams in that situation have gone 10-27 SU and 27-10 ATS against an average line of +18 (7-6 SU lined less than two touchdowns, and 27-3 ATS scoring more than 7 points). sdql

Rutgers +435
Rutgers +14 -120

reading a new book on persuasion and public speaking right now, and "buy a new car because it's Christmas" seems like a terrible argument.. "make one of the worst investments of your life this holiday season treat yourself to a luxurious test drive"

"it's argument by emotion and logicians hate it, but even Aristotle himself, the man who invented logic, recognized its usefulness."

L4 seasons opposing teams 10-8 SU and 14-4 ATS (avg line 5.5) in week 10 or later vs Brian Kelly. Stanford HC is already 4-2 SU against him, losing by 7 and 3, and 4-0 SU scoring more than 14 points. Stanford has covered the L8 home dog lines all the way back to 2007, and David Shaw is 10-3 ATS as the dog since he became HC in 2011.

Dang Sparty coach is quoted as saying that he wanted an impressive win in order to secure a new years day bowl game. Really thought Rutgers was going to work :bag:

Since 2009 Stanford 16-3 SU at home versus ranked opponent, losing by 3,3,23 and going 4-0 SU as the underdog.
