*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (5 Viewers)

When the Eagles host the Vikings Sunday night, it’s unlikely that the players will be battling the elements. Temperatures during the game are forecast to be in the 40s, the winds will be almost dead calm, and any rain should hold off until well after the game.

I didn't even bet anything at Bovada for weeks, but right after they cashed all my season-long player sack props, my account was cut to about $2.50/prop now.

If you're thinking of parlaying the fave moneylines, in the L16 seasons conference championship favorites have gone 2-0 SU seven times and 1-1 SU nine times.

yep they are huge ()'s now

I got know 4 people cut there this year, I don't think any of them put in a bet over $100

and after season long stuff cut people from 25 to $1

Man I did not expect to find that the majority of the time these championship faves go 1-1 SU this week. I had been planning on placing bets thinking that both faves win  And I'm already locked-in on Minny as the last leg of a two-teamer at 170/325. What's worse is that I love betting dogs in the first place. So now the question is "which dog wins?" Philly seems like the most logical, as the home team in this game is like 66.6% L16 seasons. But the Brady hand thing with the corresponding line move is starting to creep in.

Vegas ML tonight

Also, anyone having trouble logging into BOL via phone?  I know I'm putting the right uid/pw in there, but keeps saying error?

Mma parlay

$25 -> $250

 Stipe Miocic ML (+160)

(2) Shane Burgos ML (-200)

(3) Gian Villante ML (-155)

(4) Thomas Almeida ML (-120)

That Ngannou dude is really something. I know Hooter said he likes Miocic and the dog money too, I presume he has the experience and skill to stay away from getting hit with something big.

I know he started off boxing, I think he could step into a monster payday if he wanted to cross over and fight Joshua at Wembley. That would be an eight-figure fight for him.

Speaking of boxing, Deontay Wilder is about a -220 favorite against Luis Ortiz (see av) on March 3rd, and I'm 75% convinced that Ortiz is going to be taking a dive, for the same economic reasons as stated in the above post: he's tentatively slated for a Joshua fight in late 2018 (which would be for all belts, assuming Joshua beats Parker), and it would be for monster money.

Wilder's had two dudes take dives for him in the last couple years. The whole thing is either rotten, or Wilder's playing career Russian roulette. In a straight fight, Ortiz would bounce him, I think.

Miocic has fought better stand-up fighters already and dominated them. if you like Ngannou take him by KO 1st round. I got a bunch on Miocic  :boxing:

i like Almeida too, but can't trust Villante too much just yet (though does look like he has grown up finally)

14-2-1 O/U when the fave averaged more than 44% rushing plays on the season - and out of those 17 games, 13-0-1 O/U 51±11 when the dog allowed less than 20.5 points per game on the season.

Vikings/Eagles o39 -105 2u

Vikings o23 +123
Vikings o27 +302
wow, way ballsy with those overs. Eagles defense at home i think gives up an average of less than 14 points a game

I know. I'm just going by what I found. I also have Minny ML as the final leg of a two-teamer but I don't like it as much anymore because one of the faves usually loses this week and Philly at home seems like the most logical dog win.

I'm in an NFL pick'em contest at work.  My company headquarters is based in Canada, I just assume the NFL is like their second language after the CFL, but maybe not.  28 participants, 27 from Canada, me from US.  8 weeks in I'm in a 4 way tie for 20th place.  There is a 4 ways tie for 1st between CHERYL, ERICA, LAUREN, and Steve.  Danielle, Vanessa, and Karen are in 8th, 10th, and 12th respectfully.  Several times per week I'm harassed on my lack of football knowledge.  I would take it to HR, but the HR manager (Angela) has won 2 of the weeks and she'd probably just laugh at me too.  My boss, who probably can't name 3 NFL players, gives me weekly tips and I just nod my head and say OK, OK, oh wow thanks.  I want to say listen, I'm thegooroo, but they'd just say "you're what?  In the US is a gooroo someone who sucks at picking football?"
Who won?

Man.. I haven't won or lost a bet since Suns on Tuesday. Went on a three-day food and gambling fast. Finally going to eat and gamble tonight. BOOM MADE IT THREE DAYS
