*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (11 Viewers)

That's sweet collaboration right there. I remember when y'all two were going at it a few months ago. Probably over something stupid. That's what makes FFAWT the best thread. Grown men getting along despite stupid stuff that happened in the past. Sincerely, that's heartwarming.

That was a weird day.

Since last season TCU 18-8-1 O/U B12 (9-2-1 O/U away). During the same time KState 12-13-1 O/U B12 (11-3 O/U on more than 2 days rest). Contrarian favors TCU ATS but I laid off.

Conference Championships Passing Yards Leader - Tom Brady +120* Conference Championships Rushing Yards Leader - Latavius Murray +300* Conference Championships Receiving Yards Leader - Rob Gronkowski +400
What about a shot at Minny +450 on the most points scored? That one popped off the page at me.

Anyone have any experience with Nitrogen Sports?
What I find interesting about Nitrogen Sports is that it appears you can send and receive Bitcoin like a normal wallet from there. As in, you don't request a payout, you just withdraw and as soon as it confirms, you get your money.

"In order to withdraw, all deposits less than 1.0 BTC must have at least 1 confirmation, between 1.0 and 10.0 BTC will require 2 confirmations, between 10.0 and 50.0 BTC will require 4 confirmations and any deposits over 50.0 BTC will require 6 confirmations. "

Wow. Just went back and read through that. I was a jerk In before, WAS?
One of the most fun things is the Super Bowl props if you choose to partake. Every year someone (Tiger fan I think) keeps a running spreadsheet of all the plays. It gets pretty extensive but a lot of guys make money. Stuff like the O/U on how many times Payton Manning said "Omaha," Gatorade color of the winning team, and whether or not Katy Perry shows her cleavage at halftime are among some of the more memorable ones. And Madonna yes/no fishnet stockings one year I think. It's really cool. A highlight of the year.

yep.  I'll set it up again this year.  Work is crazy as hell right now though..will maintain as much as I possibly can.

SBR shows 97.5% on the Florida/Kentucky over, S&O says 96% and SI says 71%. During the L3 seasons Kentucky games with a total greater than 145 have gone 14-3 to the under when Kentucky is laying less than 5 points (13-0 to the under when Kentucky scores less than 84 by themselves). Only one of those games was at home and it was also against Florida. Just a lean on the total. Florida looks like a real contrarian play though. Contrarial.

You really like minny i have noticed.  I think they struggle outdoors, on grass. That surface last week was pretty much not pretty which makes sense to slow down Julio and co. Same deal this week. I saw a stat of mnnesota outdoors on grass that wasn't pretty. Ill try to find it.

Six games on grass surface this season:

date o:team points
20170917 Steelers 9
20171009 Bears 20
20171029 Browns 33
20171112 Redskins 38
20171210 Panthers 24
20171223 Packers 16
20180121 Eagles -

I disagree. I just found a nice, filtered down situation of faves in conference championships that rush > 44% on the season plays well to the over, especially if the opposing team (dog) has allowed less than 20.5 on the season. I put 2u on the o39 and then a unit each on Vikes o23 and o27. The situation I found felt real clean, though.

The thread record on this stuff is very damn good.  All of the above plus the "will NE/Car" call tails bets over the past few years have been great.  Katy Perry Roar first song.

That's because your balance at Nitrogen stays in BTC.  So, if Bitcoin value goes up, your balance grows relative to USD and vice versa.  I'm pretty sure @lumpy19 has used them in the past along with every other online sportsbook out there.

Maybe i just dreamt it???
I don't know. The one thing that got me all yippy was holding the Vikes as the final leg of a two-teamer. Because I got it in my head that one of the dogs will win SU, as they've done so in 9 of the L16 seasons this week of the season - conference championship week.

Yes Nitrogen is the bomb, love them

Took my son to the sabres game today, they played awesome, he's going to a sabres fan for life

TCU is like pulling teeth. Six minute scoring droughts and coach ejected and they're gonna miss hitting the team total by freakin six points <_<

You saying o120 is the play, or just get everyone pumped up for SB Props?  I assume it is b/c of the juice.  Looking back last year, we had no issue laying the -165 and it hit IIRC

If you think Jax or Phi can pull the upset tomorrow, 5D has some nice odds on Bortles +2000 and Foles +2500 for SB MVP.

One of the highlights of the SB party I always go to is the "prop sheet" contest I run.  Print off from Wagertalk or Covers or whatever, $5 entry, most right answers wins.  Fun to sit down 90 minutes before kick off with everyone and fill out our sheets.  The kids get into it, people keep track during the game of things like heads or tails and whether Brady's first pass was complete and whether or not Julio will score a td.  I always feel like I have an advantage cause of you beautiful bastahds, and yet every year some 12 year old girl or a soccer mom who spends the whole game in the kitchen with a glass of white wine wins the pot.

I'm excited for it and already a little depressed thinking about how I'll feel coming home from that party, knowing football is over again for 8 months.  Sigh.

Matt Holt from Cantor is pretty good at picking UFC.  I'm parlaying Miocic, Font, Homasi, and Ortiz based on his picks at +2552.  So probably fade.  :)

I just went back and looked up last year.  I made 82 bets on the Super Bowl risking about $25k total and ended up winning a measley $120 on props.

Won 1K on a square when Gostkowski doinked that XP

In the last 24 years of championship Sunday, there have been two FGs made longer than 50.5 yards.

Pink over, under 50.5, and a personal one, under 34.5 most team points.  I see NE/Jags under, and I don't see either team in Philly scoring 35.
