*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (7 Viewers)

In and on these:

Penn State -7.5 – This is easily my favorite play of the week. General theme of overreaction here by the books and market, all over this one.

Oklahoma -29.5 – I think UCLA is that bad, and this number can’t be set high enough.

Arkansas St. +36 – Fading the public, it’s over 72% Bama. Saw Saban is 0-4-1 ATS week before conference play starts.
In

Also ohio st -34.5

ASU +6

Lot of good boxing imo:

Garcia/Porter draw +2000 / to go the distance -260

Kownacki -170

Welborn -115
Ugas/Nietes parlay is good. Fine to play them separate too.

I nipped Sammy Vargas for a little tiny bit at 16/1. Amir Khan has incredibly fast hands and took out the last mope he fought in under a minute, but this, this, and this make me think he's never safe.

there was a fella in the elevator with a full-on purple TCU polo shirt and he was like, "They can get the game in as long as SMU covers the spread and it stays under 46 points!" He was real loud about it, and kind of explained it to me too much - like he was talking to some non-gambling rube who had no idea what he must have been talking about. Oh! Little will he ever know who he was speaking to! I just smiled and nodded and wished him good luck. Dude was obviously a dirty, dirty degenerate gambler. I didn't mention my 1H and 3Q totals I'd already invested in this morning. Because I'm a non-gambling rube..

What’s that under thingy he was talking about?

JClarkHFB 4 minutes ago Well, as of about 5 min ago we've had another lightning strike near the stadium so the delay gets pushed further back. Not sure how late they are willing to start this game. #TCU #SMU
The rule is: if lightning strikes within 8 miles, you have to wait 30 minutes before teams can take the field, at which point they have 30 minutes to warm up.

9:50 EST kickoff. I should have told that TCU dude it's always a good rule of thumb to only bet dogs you think have a chance at the SU win

Damn sportsbook.ag and bitcoin only bull####. Any decent books out there for US folks?

Anyway.... I LOVE the over on MEM/Navy Tommorrow.

I already thought TCU would score between 14 and 21 in the 3Q just by the nature of how Dykes' games have gone as the underdog

UVA had 301 rushing yards last game - their most in 58 games. Indiana gave up 170 rushing yds and three TD’s to FIU. Hoosiers gave up 200 or more rushing yds five times last year - including 242 at home to GA Southern. Expect lots of running on Saturday.
Bronco Mendenhall has gone 9-17 SU and 12-14 ATS since he became head coach at UVA:
110 rush yards or fewer: 3-14 SU and 4-13 ATS
more than 110 yards rushing: 6-3 SU and 8-1 ATS

Jordan Ellis grades out as the best RB in the country last week
Jordan Ellis broke all of his previous career highs for rushing yards and average Saturday night against Richmond, and as a result was named ACC Running Back of the Week today.
In Bronco Mendenhall’s view, Jordan Ellis is Virginia football. “He embodies what a Virginia football player should be,” Mendenhall said this week. Fans saw a little of what Mendenhall was talking about in the Cavaliers’ lopsided win over Richmond in Saturday night’s season opener. Ellis rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns, which garnered him ACC Running Back of the Week honors on Tuesday.
Virginia +185
Virginia +5 -108

I logged in to see what they had for FB and I saw a few new messages re: new agent b/c Kurt is sick and $400 threshold instead of $500.  Did anyone receive their tracking info yesterday?  I'm only at $100, so I don't have anything coming to me...but I was just curious how the new agent is
I havent gotten anything yet for mine

And so, with week 2 of cfb on the horizon, another year of VandyTotals begins.

Vandy-Nevada u63
Down to 61, like it to 60

Also going to the game at Dudley for the first time in years, really no reason why I haven't besides lolvandy.

Aeris Williams is 2nd string and got 2 carries last week. He's lined at 82.5 yards against Kansas State

I also took Kylil Hill o49.5. Hoping he gets the carries this week.

#19 UCF beat UConn by 39 on the road last week.

#20 BSU beat Troy on the road last week by 36.  Game was -10.

BSU has a lot of seniors on both sides of the ball. Played one of their most focused games in recent memory last week. Rypien was 16-19 280 yds 4td in 1st half.

BSU is going to want to win by more than 39 this week vs UConn, so that they can move ahead of UCF in the polls and be best of the non-Big 5.  BSU is going to crush UConn
