*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (11 Viewers)

Boise st has been running the ball very well the last month.  BC doesn't stop it well.

Boise st run d is pretty solid.  BC doesn't pass well.

Boise st plays very well in Bowl games

-2.
:hifive:

Harsin is pretty damn good in Bowl Games too.  I still have visions of Vander Esch going Charles Jefferson on the Ducks last year.  I knew he was going to be a star (traded up to take him in a dynasty IDP league :nerd:  ).

Go Broncos!

They also have several players on the team from the Dallas area and recruit heavily in Texas every year.

Got plans to take my older boys to Boise next fall to visit my aunt/uncle.  Aunt is a retired college guidance counselor who helped me narrow my colleges down many many moons ago.  I'm hoping we can time this with a BSU game as I've always wanted to watch a game on the Blue Turf.  We'll have to grab a beer when I'm there.

Ah, bummer.  The hard thing is when you win you win 1 unit, but when you lose you lose 3.  So really gotta win 4 out of 5 to profit.  Not on that pace yet...
    I wasn't sure if I was goinng to be awake for it so I bailed :kicksrock:

That Army game still hurts

TCU has tied or led at half in every game except for WVU and OU. I think TCU will be up at half.

TCU -120 for 1st half

1H under easily.  This might be the worst post-Christmas bowl day of the last 2-3 years. 🙃

Turned it to Starz to watch Up with the wife and son an hour ago.  Feel 1000× better about myself.

So I have a few Yen on Mahomes MVP and I’m very glad to see all the sites having him lined between -150 and -250 to win.

Ive been following the race the whole way and this is the first week Mahomes has pulled ahead of Brees.  I hate to say it but there may be a little bit of value on Brees.  Every bit on NFLN and ESPN talks about the enormous pressure to give it to him as a lifetime achievement.  I understand in today’s media these are all scripted arguments but for what it’s worth it always comes down to 50/50.

I'm with you here. I get that Mahomes is a superhuman talent wise, but he's dropped some games as of late to good teams. That will weigh on the minds of voters, as well as the fact that the four losses at 11-4 were to the stronger teams on the Chiefs' schedule (@NE, @LAR, vs. SD, @SEA). I could easily see this playing out, with this only being Mahomes' second year in the league and first as a starter. He'll have many opportunities to win MVP if he stays healthy. Brees has lead the Saints to home field throughout at 39. With one SB win and another (maybe final?) chance this season, I agree and am going to put in on Brees at +110.

Or in this case, 5000/50.  Mahomes MVP '18.

To win the SB, I put a little bit on each of these:

Philadelphia 60/1

Seattle 25/1

Indianapolis 30/1

LA Chargers 15/1

I know I'm guaranteed 3 losers and should have just picked one but oh well....it'll be fun sweating these teams.
