My personal opinion is that totals are where it's at. People get too involved in who is going to win and not enough how the game will play out.

Yeah it's funny when I see prop posts here and look at my local who posts them less than 2 hours before kick the posted plays are -165 or more on receptions, maybe like 0.5 or 1 higher or lower on the number. Yardage can be 5-10 yards more or less on our picks and still in the -140 or higher range. I welcome legalization in PA for props, will be a nice pop until cut.

Bought 9 Valentines Day cards at Walgreens yesterday. My plan is to give her one every time I see her from now until Valentines. They have some pretty clever/sick cards that only a playboy like myself could pull off giving away - and it's rare you ever get to say that about any type of greeting card. Many of them simply roll with the theme of "I love you" without mentioning Valentines Day, so if you want to be savvy, stock up on them now and have relationship ammo for the rest of 2019. I'm ready to see my girl's face when she receives a "Valentines Day" card in September. Boom instant coffee (euphemism).

I called Harrah’s Chester this week and they still don’t have a date set for the book to open, let alone an app/online to go live. Can’t believe they're all not ready to go before the super bowl, pretty big investment to let the Super Bowl pass by without making money off of it.

Have I got a story for you boys

 
So, some of you may have noticed I've been pretty scarce for a bit (or who knows, maybe you didn't miss me)
Anyhows..................couple of weeks ago was at a buddy's watching week 17 NFL, wasn't feeling well and left
early. Kind of thought I was getting the stomach flu, which I thought was weird because I had already had it a
few weeks prior. Came home, Mrs. Gussy made a light dinner, I ate a little and spent the next 12 hours or so
stuck in the bathroom. Monday around noon everything pretty much cleared up as far as bathroom time but
my gut still wasn't feeling any better. I didn't eat anything Monday or Tuesday and then Tuesday night, Mrs.
Gussy, being the wife of the year that she is gave me a secret drug cocktail (she's a nurse, there's an outside
chance we have a secret stash of some ish that we probably shouldn't), anyhows, she comes and gives me
like 8 pills and says go to bed. Now I always get a little leary when she does this, the last time she did it I slept
for 18 hours and it seemed as if she enjoyed me being out of her hair a bit too much. Either way, about 16 hours
later, I wake up Wednesday, I "think" I may feel a little better and think I'll try to eat a little ramen soup. Bear in
mind I have literally eaten nothing since Sunday night and it is now Wednesday morning and I'm a solid 270'ish.
Couldn't eat it. Didn't throw it up, just couldn't eat. Something was wrong. My gut was still hurting but I couldn't
throw up. I showered Wednesday late afternoon/early evening and when I get out my gut is distended like a
pregnant woman. Now, my gut is normally a "bit" distended, but not like this. And when I look down, it's like
about 2/3 of it is on the left side of my belly button. And just to touch it is BRUTAL. I go to ER, they tell me they
think I have a bowel obstruction and they are going to keep me overnight, put me on some med, see if I feel
better in the morning. I don't. I feel worse. Ends up my small intestine twisted all up and rolled over on itself. They
Split me open like a melon, take my 23' of intestine out, put it on a tray, untangle it and put it back in. If I were a
horse or a dog they would have put me down, lol. Either way, was in the joint for just under a week, been home
a few days, still pretty sore, but have a really cool story, and a fantastic scar. Chicks dig scars. Right?

Glad you're ok bud.  I actually thought about @ing you and asking if you had gotten on these 1P overs in hockey on the best teams but just haven't been around here a bunch the last week.  Scary story.  Again, glad you're good.

Sincerely, that's a hell of a story indeed and you wrote it really well - structured and everything with nice use of quotes, caps, and humor - from a first-hand account that must have been pretty uncomfortable and probably a bit scary! Props to the wife too. Really glad you're okay man.

I did, I've been 2 uniting the ish out of the Hawks and Bolts FP overs. Finally lost last night. I'll back down to 1 unit, but keep playing them. There's a handful of other teams that have been hitting too. I was able to bet nonstop last weekend in the hospital, just not really up to posting or anything.

Nice, me too.  Hawks, Bolts, Pens, Jackets, and Sharks have been money makers.  I'm playing Pens tonight for a unit, Ducks scare me a bit but I'll play it anyway.
