***Official Game Thread*** - Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (1 Viewer)

I've been tired of the whole Favre thing for a while, but it would be a shame if that right there is the end of his career.

"Eat it Favre"???

This is really crappy. Nothing more classless than the folks in here cheering Favre getting hurt. I've got thousands riding against the Vikes, and even I think it sucks.

:goodposting:

Favre picks begin as expected, but I feel bad for him being hurt. That sucks. Guy's been toughing this out and taking a beating.
Come on Otis, Farve's INT's have been WAY down this year, to say as expected is nothing short of unfair. He's had a hell of a year and he's been nothing short of a MAN out there today taking those shots. To say Farve's picks are expected then say it sucks that he got hurt really doesn't mesh.

Someone better go over to AD and give him the "i dont care about whats happened to this point" speech. AD circa 2007 needs to show up in the 4th qtr if they want to win this game.

How do you figure?

It was called because he lifted him and drove him into the ground. Good call, IMO.
It's called a tackle. He didn't try to hurt him, hit him low, he threw and was tackled at the same time.

Maybe they should put flags on Favre.
Funny you mention hitting him lowBrady gets 15 out of that hit
:goodposting: Easily should've been a penalty. If it was Manning or Brady getting hit the flag is thrown 10 out of 10 times. If I'm Jared Allen I make sure Brees doesn't finish the game here.

The overacting's all part of the shtick. Perhaps you aren't familiar with Brett Favre

Cat's good though, still rooting for the Vikes because of the national anthem debacle

there we go....knew he was due for that. time for the baby to act hurt to excuse the ####ty throw.
Baby :goodposting: I guarantee you that you would die on the field after taking some of these hits. Guy is tough as hell.
Exactly. Dude is 40 years old out there taking some wicked shots. There isn't anyone who isn't going to get up slow after those shots.
Eh, the OP's a Lions fan. He has no clue as to how to act when it comes to the playoffs.

The Saints are blowing so many opportunities here it's ridiculous. Slowly playing themselves out of this game.

Ref's can't fix that one for him.
You saints fans starting this crap already?Enjoy the game. The refs have been fine.
They suck like they do every week. There's no fix, or that garbage. Just inconsistent, poor officiating.
And yet they do a 1000% better then you could ever do.
So we should be OK with them making lousy calls because that's better than the average Schmoe could do?

Favre certainly is a tough guy. Plays with a ton of heart. This is the best of Favre rather than the media seeking garbage we see outside of the game. Glad he's coming back in. I can't imagine hime coming back next season win or lose tonight.

Because you tear him down before you give him the praise he deserves. First, his INT's are way down this year and 2nd, you're projecting that he'll throw more and more, similar to you saying that Minnesota was going to get killed in this game.

Lost in all of this Favre talk is that Drew Brees has not played that well; he has missed several open receivers. Favre has outplayed him by a mile, despite having the crap knocked out of him. Hope Favre makes it back out there.

EAT IT FAVRE!*

*By 'it' I mean the jambalaya at Claude's Joint down in the French Quarter. It's delicious.
