alright, i think you bastards talked me into it. After dinner, im making the trip to best buy to get the following

-1 copy of gears of war

-50 ft ethernet cable to run through my house from TV room to router in computer room (better than dropping $100 on the wireless adapter)

-x box live gold subscription

- plastic mat for underneath computer chair(old one is ripped up)

I hate you all, and look forward to trying to kill you online tonight

Hey - the wife could always get sick, and of course, Aunt Flo could visit, so don't be too afraid to risk a late rounder on the Cow. Could pay huge dividends.

The heavy stuff usually starts around 9 - 10pm CST and goes up until midnight; however, there are usually folks on all evening practicing their bleeding maneuvers in advance of my arrival.

just played the training sequence real quick. love what i see so far. It looks amazing on the big screen. Will be on around 10-10:30 EST. gamer tag is Tlef316. send invites, even though i suck right now

Yeah, I know what you mean. But its worth it for that 1 out 100 times you actually hit something.
 
Who the heck invited me to those few games? I had no idea who they were so after a couple games I left.

as expected, my GOW debut was quite poor. Like i told the guys on, i havent played a console shooter since goldeneye. Ill be playing over the next few days though.
