Because they don't do Best Actor every year?

She meant a lot of good actors got nominated.

I can't speak for her, but I took it that she was commenting on how many great performances there were in the category.

Loved Keaton ever since Mr. Mom. Need to see Birdman.

It's excellent. The single take schtick worked very well for this film.

I disagree. It was kind of interesting. Norton was very good. But Hollywood likes self important movies about the industry.Nightcrawler was much much better. Hell, Guardians of the Galaxy was much much better.

I loved that movie. I saw it in the theater and had no clue what to expect. Fiennes was outstanding.

If you haven't seen "Night Shift" with him and Henry Winkler - its worth a look. Dated but still pretty funny.

Night Shift is great.

Found Wes's speech and have no idea why anybody would say he came off as a "jagoff." Light-hearted, funny, and mentioned many of the people who got him there, literally, by name. Never seen that. Nicely done.

I've heard talk of foreigners and the press wondering what Trump means for them, but I wasn't aware that Hollywood was potentially worried. Obviously I'm aware that they are like 99% liberal and aren't fans of Trump.

I think all Meryl Streep did was remind us that Hollywood celebs are the most self-important people in America.  And completely out of touch with the issues and problems that regular folks like us face.
