Finished all 50 jumps. So there's that.

1) Use Franklin.

2) Ride an 801.

3) Use his special skill as much as possible.

4) You get can extra distance if you backflip while jumping. Sometimes extra distance isn't a good thing, but it's pretty sweet.
How did you find all the jumps, is there a cheat map somewhere?

Hey Weekend Warrior Marino, Tre, Bones, and any other Ps3 people -

My headset came in the mail and the family is out this evening, so I'll be on around 6ish, maybe earlier. Let's kill stuff and blow up people.
Planning on playing this pretty much all night tonight. Will be on around 7:30 central or so.

Just made a quick 40K wasting Chesters with Bonesman.

Taking a break until my son goes to bed around 9:30ish.

Looks like Huskers15, Brady, and maybe Bonesman should be on too. We could roll some top tier missions.

Do you guys have any luck calling the strippers? Nikki has had a UTI for like the past 3 weeks. Jeez, just tell the dudes you're not feeling it anymore, no need to keep making excuses. Unbelievable.
This game is unreal. :lmao:

Anyone get the side-piece who lives by the lighthouse? Picked her up randomly in the backwaters, gave her a ride home and then got to bang her. She's wacky. Ursula.
Guess who's taking a trip over by the lighthouse tonight?
Just a note, I picked her up randomly hitchhiking, and took her back to the lighthouse. The GTA wikia says to look north of the Alamo Sea.
Should also be noted that I believe she only shows up for Trevor. Haven't tried calling after dropping her off. Most people just go to voice mail or busy signal, so I never bother anymore.

I'm a little drunk, but I'm logging on for the 360 in a minute. I want to play with someone, so gamertag is in the signature and I'm part of the crew.

Give him some damn codeine and get back online, I just rogged on.

I'm having a hell of a time getting a free roam session though. It keeps throwing me into my own session. Might have to host a job and invite you all.

Meh. I keep getting disconnect and thrown back into GTAV.

I'm calling it quits. Either the servers suck tonight or my connection is having problems.

I used the stunt jump map from GamesRadar.

In that case, maybe anyone can.

Finished the main game last night. Option C. Guess I only have some side-missions to do now.

Wish there was a way to purchase sticky bombs in bulk for a discount. It currently only allows me to purchase 25 at a time (which is like 15k, ugh).. and I can burn through those easily in one rampage. They are like the remote mines from the old Nintendo Goldeneye game.

SP question: if you miss or fail any of the random encounters do you get another try? Not the wallet ones but some of the others. I drove by a construction site with Trevor and a cut scene initiated where a guy in a truck was trapped and needed me to save him. I somehow got the bulldozer jackknifed you have to use to save him and we both caught fire and blew up. Would like to try that again.

Darn encounters are always coming up when I'm in the middle of something else. I was trying to pick up a pot run with Franklin when I found the stock guy who needs a lift to the airport. So took him to the airport but failed the pot mission. Had one of Trevor's random people needing a lift occur right after I wrecked my car and when I went to steal a new one to transport us the cops came after us and spooked my offering to the Altruists into jumping out of the car.

Usually after a game day or two they will respawn.

I have a very good idea on how to make easy money in GTA online.

You get a group of 6-8 people who all know each other (ideally in the same crew). 1 has to be very high leveled. 1 has to be as low leveled as possible. All get on a mission together, either a race or a deathmatch.

Everyone max bets on the low level guy. Let him win. Odds will typically be better than 20 to 1 payouts in this scenario. So, if you bet $2500, you're getting 50K plus each time.

Find a quick mission and your could make a million in an hour or so.

I still haven't figured out exactly how the betting system works, but I'm pretty sure this won't work. It seems to change the odds right before the match starts.. for example I've seen my odds at 4/1 to win a race and placed $2500 on it, only to see it jump to 2/5 at the last moment. Instead of winning 10k I only received 1k. I also think bets on other players must be placed, or you'll get the "not enough bets placed" message. You can still make money with a group of friends by betting on a race/deathmatch and letting a specific person win. I just don't think it's quite as lucrative due to the weird betting rules.

I've found that doing the survival mission at Boneyard and staying in that spot behind the trailer is a very easy way for a group of four to get 20k each fairly quickly. Plus tons of XP points.

The odds adjust quickly. Especially when you race against the same people. This won't last too long as +EV.

And yes, that boneyard survival is the easiest XP/Cash farm there is right now. Plus you pickup some sick weapons and can take them out to freemode.

Yup. I'm getting tired of the Boneyard though, done it so many times.

Switch winners around then. I'm sure this is gameable.

I think races still have better XP/Cash per hour. But yea, I do a survival as one of the first things to get the minigun.

I haven't played a GTA game since Vice City and I never really embraced it. I love shooters but Vice City just seemed like a bunch of purposeless random violence with little else going for it.

I played Saints Row the Third and the mechanics were good enough and the story was entertaining but what I loved was the sense of humor.

GTA V looks great but does it incorporate a good sense of humor or does it take itself a little too seriously?

It's definitely not Saints Row, but it's also not GTA4 (which definitely took itself too seriously). If Saints Row is a 10 on the silliness scale and GTA4 is a 0, then GTA5 is probably like a 3 or 4.

A lot of the missions seems to be more than just "shoot-and-clear", and actually serve the story pretty well. I can't imagine the GTA series being a first stop for someone who just wants pure, unadulterated violence. You can find that, but there's also a lot more to it.

I would say it's closer to 6 or 7 when you really get down to the little things in the game that are just funny as hell.

Sorry if this has been covered before. In SP mode, I've gotten very good at getting a fighter jet out of the base and getting unwanted. It appears to me that the game has a method of making sure you can't get one saved in your hangar as every time I steal one with Trevor, the engine dies when his airstrip is in sight and same for Franklin when the airport and his hangar are in sight. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just how it is? If this is the case, I'll just stop trying to get them in a hangar and just blast the #### our of things.
