***OFFICIAL*** Guys Jeans Thread (1 Viewer)

The only brand of jeans I see myself buying for the rest of my life are Lucky Brand. They offer exceptional quality, great fit and comfort (from slim to baggy), can be had for under $50 bnwt on eBay (once you know your size, you don't need to try them on), any wash you want.

I owned a retail clothing store and sold Girbaud, Levi, Guess, CK, Hilfiger etc....Lucky Brand crush them all. Mavi and some of the other brands mentioned just don't measure up quality-wise, but they are fashionable for now.

This has nothing to do with money. Just admit that it makes you angry that we are out there wearing nice jeans and picking up chicks, and you're home in your old navy jeans taking out the garbage. And you're miffed about it.
Then why act like I was outside of the gate because I could not afford to go in?Im angry because you have troubles picking up girls without spending that much money on jeans? Not at all. I find it funny that you need expensive jeans to pick up girls while I did just fine wearing cheaper jeans.I think its painfully obvious that you are the angry one and are begging for everyone else's acceptance/approval of your choices and are miffed that there are those who think its silly. Otherwise why start threads about what jeans are cool...what sunglasses are cool?Wanting to look like Brad Pitt or someone else because someone told you that was cool.
Huh?
Women are materialistic and the reality is they are impressed by these things and will then to nice things to the guy. Otis, like most of us, likes when the women do this. So, instead of being stubborn, he's adapting to the stupidity of women. What about that makes him "angry and begging for acceptance/approval?"

#### Yeah, I wanna look like Brad Pitt. Give me my brain and Brad Pitt's physical makeup, and I am...well...I am Brad Pitt with a brain! Any guy in here who really thinks he is "Brad Pitt-like" is delusional....and as a pre-emptive strike, it is not gay to recognize when another guy is good looking - hell, it helps a lot - as long as you point good looking guys out to your wife, she won't fail to point out a hot, busty babe with protruding nipples anywhere, anytime. At least that's the way it works at my house... :tumbleweed:

I haven't heard many people say they wear Abercrombie jeans. Is A&F considered high school stuff or is it approved for all ages?
I dunno, Cerwin. I checked the fashionable men's bible and it didn't mention A&F.
Actually you link went to a slideshow featuring among others Hollister (which IS A&F) and A&F itself....
Shhhh.... I wanted to see if Woz could figure that out on his own.
what are you talking about?

Problem is...nobody here looks like Brad Pitt...and wearing sunglasses and jeans like him don't make anyonere here look or act like him. Instead it makes some (not all)...look like poser doochebags trying to look cool.

Some women are. And those worried about what Jeans I wore...I have/had non inclination to even bother worrying about that type of biotch.Angry? Have you seen his posts? The insults thrown because I don't agree with his opinion?Begging for acceptance/approval? Lets see...this post and one about sunglasses asking others on the internet whats cool or awesome....I rest my case.

Paging shuke. I wanna know what kinda jeans that guy wears.
Is this a joke?
No. Why would it be?
You are coming to me for fashion advice? This is rich.
I wasn't asking for fashion advice. I wanted to know what kind of jeans you wear.
Why?
So he can make fun of you when you say something other than a brand that costs $150+, of course.

I like Ecko and Shady jeans...they're not cheap but they're not too expensive (50-120$). Dunno if many FBGs wear would wear that kind of jeans though.

I've actually never heard of the Diesels, Rock, and Republics... where can they be bought? I honestly don't recall ever seeing them, and I've been drug to enough malls/fancy stores to think I would have.
I'd hold off on the R&R for now. They're very expensive (even among designer jeans) and have a rather large, effeminate logo on the cheeks.Diesel is ;)

I'm a 34 year old white guy. A father. An engineer. Living in the suburbs of a midwestern city. What the #### would I wear other than Gap and Levi's?

Hard not to, GB.

What luck! I have just come across 20% off coupons for Macy's. If anyone has been inspired by this thread to go out and upgrade their jeans wardrobe, Macy's is having its family & friends 20% off weekend. From May 2-6 you can enter in "MACYSFRIEND" as the coupon code online and save money! Just thought I'd share the wealth to all the FBGs!

You're making no sense. You want to know what kind of jeans I wear. I ask why, and your reason is because you saw a picture of me with a porn star. OK.

Please explain to me why seeing a picture of me with a porn star would make someone want to know what kind of jeans I wear. I am being completely serious here, no shtick.

I'll preface this with, yes, this is slightly gay.
I read this thread title, and my eyes didn't even have time to move the 2 inches to the right to see who started it before my mind clicked in with "This sounds like an Otis thread." Good lord, man, just come out with it already. We won't judge you.NTTAWWT.
Again, I received a PM from one of our less active iGBs asking that I start the thread for him because he would rather avoid the flack. Just trying to help a fellow out.

Did he say you "sound like Woz" too? Cause that's ####### cool. :hot:

Picked up a couple new pairs of Guess jeans today. I still say they could be the best value in designer jeans. $79 bucks a pop, great fit, great wash.

In contrast, I saw some True Religion jeans at the store this weekend, and I'm fairly certain that even the guys versions are girls jeans. Lord are they gay. Those pockets are everything but BeDazzled.

You tight with yer cash? Guess is not designer and True Religion only look good on broads. Why start a 4 page thread and avoid the meat of it?
For the record, I started the thread at someone else's request. That said, the thread definitely piqued my interest. I gave those True Religion's a look. God they were awful. And $250 a pop? Jesus.I also gave Diesel a look. The store I looked at didn't have any washes that looked cool. :goodposting:So, I ultimately went with what I know works -- never a bad decision. However, I can still be convinced to spend upwards of $150 on a pair of jeans if they're really, really worth it. I haven't found the really, really worth it ones yet.
