Looks like Quinn Gray will get the start again as he took all the reps, but Garrard has practiced for 3 days in a row.

From KFFL:

Jaguars | Gray should start Week 10

Fri, 9 Nov 2007 17:38:13 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Quinn Gray should start the team's Week 10 game. Gray could be replaced by QB David Garrard (ankle) if he struggles during the game.

The use of the word "should" seems to imply this is what the writer thinks should happen, rather than factual reporting, doesn't it? At any rate it's ambiguous. My own view was that it was either a genuine game-time decision or JDR was trying to keep Tennessee guessing.

When Del Rio says Gray may start and Garrard may take over for him, what he's really doing is telling Garrard he desperately wants him to start because so much is on the line with today's game. I predict a game time decision with Garrard getting the call.

I can't help but wonder if this is just gamesmanship by JDR. You would think that Gray should know he's not supposed to talk about the other injured QB. So did JDR tell Gray to leak the "I took all the reps"quote?

Jags continue to insist that Garrard is a game-time decision.

I think you might be giving Del Rio too much credit here JB.

Probably so. It just seems a convenient way to give out misleading information. The organization can say that they never said anything about Garrard to the media.I gotta go. Theere's a black helicopter hovering overhead.

 Good luck with the probing.

Jeff Fisher on Thursday

"From what we've heard, (Garrard) has not practiced full speed, and the high-ankle (sprain) can be … difficult.''
