Because he's not a crook like Hillary, a false prophet like Bernie, a pre-programmed robot like Rubio, a...whatever Cruz is, or a sideshow like Trump.why do people not like this guy?
I got on here to ask the same thing. He's hugely electable, has a good positive message, and isn't a threat to rocking the social issues boat too much.why do people not like this guy?
This is one of the knocks against him. Many do not think he is conservative enough...similar to criticisms of Trump. I think that is ridiculous, but I have heard it before, and it seems the party base is not into it..I got on here to ask the same thing. He's hugely electable, has a good positive message, and isn't a threat to rocking the social issues boat too much.
I'm a pretty liberal guy and I'd vote for him.
Set to make a "speech" on Thursday... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/03/02/romney-to-make-major-speech-on-2016-race.html?intcmp=hpbt2Word is the that FL governor Rick Scott will endorse Trump. also Fox News is jumping off the Rubio bandwagon
who will #nevertrump choose between Cruz and Kasich? Hmmmm
On the down side, Rumor or has it that Romney may enter the race....
Probably after Trump wins Ohio.I like Kasich but when is this dude going to drop out?
He's still running?I like Kasich but when is this dude going to drop out?
LOL "some"I mean, regardless of what you think about Kasich, whether it is his particular views or 'likability', he seems to be the most qualified to run this country out of all the candidates.
Has plenty of experience: many years in Congress, has been the Ohio governor for awhile now, and has worked in the private sector as well.
More importantly, he expanded Medicaid in Ohio when he knew it would not only anger state Republicans but also lose some primary voters as well.
The country can only hope..The next two weeks are key for Kasich. If he does well in Michigan and then pulls off the miracle in Ohio while Rubio stumbles in Florida, there is a sliver of a chance he gets traction and builds momentum
We know that it angered the Koch bros, so if anybody likes Trump's independence from the donor class, maybe look at Kasich who put his citizens above his political career there...LOL "some"
He's not conservative enough for the GOP to support...They would rather lose the nomination to the democrats while clinging to their abortion stance, their Jesus and their guns...You know things that don't create jobs ,pay down debt or put food on our tables. In my estimation, he's the one guy remaining among the Republicans who would easily defeat Hillary. I used to think that was Rubio but Marco has been exposed as to young, weak, robotic, etc.
But Kasich would take all the independents and some Democrats too.
I don't see anyone on the left doing anything about those either. He's not conservative enough for the GOP to support...They would rather lose the nomination to the democrats while clinging to their abortion stance, their Jesus and their guns...You know things that don't create jobs ,pay down debt or put food on our tables.
So I guess we are ####ed.I don't see anyone on the left doing anything about those either.
He is pro life...pro Jesus...and pro gun. But unlike so many others, he maintains a level of rational thought and realizes there are those who differ in opinion. He tends not to be so militant in his approach. He's not conservative enough for the GOP to support...They would rather lose the nomination to the democrats while clinging to their abortion stance, their Jesus and their guns...You know things that don't create jobs ,pay down debt or put food on our tables.
Yeah......he understands how to be Presidential. Unlike the other slime in the GOP running right now.He is pro life...pro Jesus...and pro gun. Well that is part of the problem...party politics has progressed to the point that there is no more compromise. It seems every action from one side is met with outright objection and obstruction by the other side. This is why so many people are frustrated and feel like something completely different...something from outside the norm...is needed to buck this trend. This is one of the reasons Trump has appeal to people.I don't get this "oh let's over throw both party BS". We just need to get the right person in there. I don't believe making a political point by electing a guy like Trump is is totally unqualified to be President helps anything. We know the country is highly divided.
In fact it will always be. We all have to compromise. It is what makes us the greatest country in the world. We all have the freedom to be who we want and live together. We all don't have to agree on everything....but the art of compromise is what makes a great President.
I totally get it. But wow....wrong guy to make this point with. Just so wrong.Well that is part of the problem...party politics has progressed to the point that there is no more compromise. That may be true, but who is the right guy from outside the "business as usual" crowd? An outsider requires an extraordinary set of circumstances: notoriety/name recognition, money, ego, connections, motivation.... Trump has all that working in his favor to get to the point in the process to where he is today regardless of how much of a tool he may or may not be.I totally get it. That's why he needs to be Trump's running mate. He would accept it and it should clinch Ohio in Nov.In my estimation, he's the one guy remaining among the Republicans who would easily defeat Hillary. I used to think that was Rubio but Marco has been exposed as to young, weak, robotic, etc.

I know. SMH. It sucks. The ol "It is what it is".That may be true, but who is the right guy from outside the "business as usual" crowd? I did say a week or so ago if Trump get's Kasich on the ticket it would be a strong strong ticket. It would raise eyebrows of guys like me who really like Kasich (and maybe Trump get's impeached at some point and Kasich get's in the back door LMFAO). No in all seriousness. Trump would be wise to put a guy like Kasich on his ticket. That's why he needs to be Trump's running mate. He would accept it and it should clinch Ohio in Nov.
He doesn't even need impeached. I can't imagine he wants handcuffed to the White House for 4 years. I can see him in there for a while, do what he needs to do (or so he thinks) and then say, 'I'm a tremendous success, America is great again, I am stepping down'.I did say a week or so ago if Trump get's Kasich on the ticket it would be a strong strong ticket. Ying and yang.
Only Presidential guy on that stage.I'd vote for him before any other republican candidate.
Made a mess with his attempts to improve Ohio school system. Terrible jobI got on here to ask the same thing. He's hugely electable, has a good positive message, and isn't a threat to rocking the social issues boat too much.

I'm not sure I agree with more boots on the ground in the ME (hate this nation building nonsense) but I do agree with not doing these things in half measures. Overwhelming force in a true multinational effort to wipe out ISIS should be the way. I watched the debate but missed parts because someone posted it in parts on YouTube and some audio got cut out between parts. Whats the reference to starting a war with Russia about? Can't believe you guys are touting him so highly. Wants ground troops in the Middle East and wants to start a war with Russia. I'd feel safer with Trump at the helm.![]()
He wanted to arm Crimea and threatened Russia that if they take up arms against anyone that we'll open a major can of whoop ### on them. He also bragged about being Rumsfeld's right hand man at some point in time.I'm not sure I agree with more boots on the ground in the ME (hate this nation building nonsense) but I do agree with not doing these things in half measures. Thanks. I agree we need to tred carefully with Russia. It's tough though because Putin is openly trying to incrementally expand the Russian empire again. We do need to do some very tactically targeted things to keep him in check without poking the bear enough to instigate something where nobody can possibly win. We definitely don't need Donald Trump level bluster. That would be disastrous. He wanted to arm Crimea and threatened Russia that if they take up arms against anyone that we'll open a major can of whoop ### on them. I agree with this but he was the only adult on stage last night. The rest of them looked like kids at a playground fight at recess.Made a mess with his attempts to improve Ohio school system. Terrible job
