***Official Julius Thomas Hype Train*** (1 Viewer)

Fml

As a Julius owner, I just traded Jordan Cameron away as I needed RB help this week.

Hopefully not too serious, didn't seem to be in toooo much discomfort on the sideline

Rotoworld:

Julius Thomas didn't return to Denver's Week 8 win over the Redskins after departing early in the third quarter with an ankle injury.
Thomas went down on Denver's opening drive of the second half. The injury didn't have the looks of a high-ankle sprain — Thomas could put weight on both feet — but it's a concern for a player with a history of ankle issues. His status will be updated no later than Monday.

Local news reporting that he's going for an MRI today. JT tweeted last night:

Appreciate all the well wishes! Find out tomorrow what's up with the injury. Will keep you all posted

Hoping for the best, more as a Broncos fan than as someone who owns JT in multiple FF leagues.

Local radio this morning saying might be a high ankle sprain.
In other words, it might not be, as well.
True. It was Vic Lombardi who is pretty turned in with the team. He said that's what JT told him. JT said he was thinking it was a ankle sprain.

HAS is very plausible here. He was tackled from behind and the defender landed in his ankles. Very typical for how HAS occurs. Means nothing though until MRI results...

X-rays negative for Julius Thomas Mon Oct 28, 03:21 PM

Denver Broncos head coach John Fox said the X-rays on TE Julius Thomas' (ankle) injured ankle came back negative.

Footballguys view: Good news for the Broncos here. Thomas is a big part of their passing game, and is tied with Jimmy Graham (Saints) for the most receiving touchdowns (8) by a tight end this year. The Broncos have a bye in Week 9, which should give Thomas plenty of time to rest.

Just nabbed him for L. Bell and Nicks. Neither was going to sniff my starting roster the rest of the way. Feel good about it, even if he misses a week or two due to setback.

Where we at Julius? Last I read he didn't practice Monday, but a lot of Bronocs took that day off.
His X-rays are still negative.
Useful. Thanks.
Sorry, had a couple beers and my sarcasm got the best of me.

What time do the Broncos usually practice? Will be interesting to see if he suits up.
No worries. I tried all the usual sites and found nothing last night. Gotta be an update today after practice.

There's a big trade stink in my league at the moment, and I don't wish any injury on him, but I'm hoping he sits out a game so that everyone in my league will be quiet about it.

GL to all JT owners. I sold high on him a few weeks back. Not BC I felt that he couldn't sustain his pace. BC I was stacked at TE.

He will always be in my heart. Lol

Between Julius Thomas & Knowshon Moreno, I don't know who I love more. Here's hoping both can stay healthy down the home stretch.

In an interview on ESPN radio in Denver, Broncos tight end Julius Thomas described himself as a game time decision for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Thomas is listed as probable on the injury report.

Thomas SHOULD be okay here, but fantasy owners need to have a backup plan just in case. We believe Thomas will play and needs to be in your lineup as a TE1 against a weak Chargers defense.
PSA, It might not be a bad idea to check your roster for guys you can flex in. This is a 4PM game so there should be plenty of options.

I own JT, but in my non-mandatory TE league I'm rolling with Lance Moore over him. Chargers don't give up TD's to TE's, Peyton will be heaving it to Decker, Welker and Thomas all day. They don't need JT to win. That being said, I would love to see him running wild and not limited for the home stretch. Good luck today.

Who are they matching up with him, Weddle? I think he gets his.
