**** OFFICIAL **** LOST - The TV Series (3 Viewers)

I also found it funny that with so much discussion here, and probably elsewhere about the washer/dryer that it ended up in the script with Rose saying "it won't help wash these dirty clothes."
I thought they were going to have her go up to the washer and dryer and say "man these almost look new". :D

There WERE 23.
hmm... perhaps 4 survivors from the drug plane, 8 from the french woman's group, 15 from another crash... 42 from the front of the plane and 23 from the back?
After the previews it looks like the Others have been picking off the LOTF tail wingers.
Absolutley, NCC mentioned it above, but it was pretty clear that they had killed (since they showed us) at least one of the tail enders. That was what I thought a few pages back when we were wondering why the tail enders looked so barbaric and thus some folks theorized that they could be the Others. They have not been living in tranquility (other than Ethan) like the original folks we know.

Lots of Spoiler info in the new TV Guide for those who like that sort of stuff. Of course, a couple of them contradict the spoilers they had in the season preview issue, so who knows how accurate they are.

Got the "new and improved" TV Guide yesterday (it's larger now) and it gave away a few things that I don't think were discussed here. (and yes, I've read every page here :nerd: )

BTW, they confirmed that Walt said "Press the button. Don't push it's bad." Don't know if the exact wording was mentioned.

See the rest below:

1. Desmond spliced the orientation video so that key parts were removed.

2. It's possible they are in a time warp. I know this has been speculated here but even the producers aren't ruling that out.

3. Shannon was dreaming when she saw Walt. Not sure how but that's what is said.
There were more, but that's all I can remember right now. If they were already discussed.....oops.

:nerd: unite!

Anyone else notice that when Sun was burying the bottle they showed a close up of her wedding ring, and then after she pulled her hands out it was gone? Don't know if she was symbolically burying Jin or what, but I rewound it on the DVR to make sure I saw what I thought I did.

Where are you guys getting this group of 15 that broke off from the group of 23 leaving 8?I didn't see 8 left in that bunker. There are 5 total, maybe 6.

Hmm...I missed that.Good ep, though. I liked it.

I am not searching but somebody called it in this thread that Bernard would be white...
:bye:
Didn't you just look on IMDB?
There was no picture of that actor on IMDB. I've seen rampant speculation that this black guy/ that black guy is Rose's wife over on the ABC boards all summer, that I felt certain that they'd make it a point to have Rose's husband be white.

So, um, did you guys who didn't watch the spoilers catch that Walt was the missing child on Hurley's milk carton in his dream? This is disturbing me, cause how would Hurley's subconcious know that Walt was taken?

Maybe that is a different Rose... but she does a good Rose impression.

I don't know why, but even when I saw her I kept doing a double take. I went back and checked one of the early season one episodes and I definitely do think that it is the same woman. For some reason I kept thinking of her looking older and fatter, might have been the shots of her sitting on the beach.

Interesting find on another board. I'll hide it even though it's not really a spoiler.

Hurley's boss (Randy) was also Locke's boss?

I dont consider that to be a spoiler. Its more of a clue from the episode that could be picked up on by anyone. I consider "spoilers" to be things that are released prior to the episode being shown. Anyway, here is a picture. Is it true?

According to the IMDB cast list for this season and the Lost DVD credits of that episode, it's the same actor playing a guy name Randy.

Looks like one more way the survivors are linked then.

This goes back to a discussion we had quite a while ago about a couple other "the same guy was also in this scene" finds. It is very common for Hollywood to use the same actor on a TV show in different small parts. It doesn't really mean anything, because it was pretty obvious from the screen shots that they were trying to make them look like different people even if they used the same guy.

With the same character name? I don't think it was a coincidence.

Or it could mean that Hurley owns Locke's box company... "I own a box company?"

Def same guyWhy would Hurley allow this man to work for him after the guy fired him?

Edit to Change My Mind: caabeel mentioned that the character in the credits had the same name, so now I think it could definitely be the same person in the Lost world.

Would he necessarily know? Being an owner, he probably didn't make hiring decisions.

Hurley didn't even know he owned a box company. His financial advisor had to tell him (that scene where a guy jumps past their window)

No discussion yet of the woman (blurred) following Hurley out of the music store?
Was it the girl he asked out or someone else? In my post above (trying to be sorta funny), I immediately thought of the girl working in the store first, so not sure if you are referring to her.

Definitely was NOT her. In fact, the background music turned eerie.....Mrs. DeGroot?

Third Picture DownShe walked in from the right and the music changed and then a blurry focus (is that possible?) on her....

Its just out of focus because the focus is on Hurley. The wall back there and everything else are out of focus too.ETA- if you notice, this is almost a closeup of Hurley, so its natural that the background go out of focus.

True but she was definitely in the shot for a reason. Go back and watch....and listen for the music score change.....

So, are gonna talk about this?
I totally missed that last night. Probably just something for us to chuckle at....
I guess. I can't imagine how Hurley, even subconciously, would know that Walt was taken.
It is a TV show, that's why. They know there are people like us who will talk about it the day after the show. It is similar to the Oceanic web site picture that was of a nice beach but actually had the black smoke and the raft in it.It was a hidden nugget that they put in just to make us fans laugh. Of course Hurley could not know what happened at this point and we know that Walt is kidnapped already so it isn't like it is revealing something new to us. They are just having fun.

Gotta go with the Hulk on this one. If it was an important character that they wanted us to notice, then they would have shown us her face. It was a music store and there were other people walking around in it.By the way, I think one of the reporters that went after Hurley in the van was blonde. Do you think it was Mrs. Degroot? ;) Just teasing, but man is there a blonde fetish going on in this thread. Just give me Kate and I am good.

I was reading another board and came across something I found interesting.

The Cygnus Constellation is also called the Cygnus the Swan.

From Rush's song Cygnus X-1

"In the constellation of Cygnus

There lurks a mysterious, invisible force

The black hole of Cygnus X-1

Six stars of the Northern Cross

In mourning for their sister's loss

In a final flash of glory

Nevermore to grace the night"

Not sure if there is any astral connection to the other Dharma branches but I thought this was interesting.

What I think is hiliarious is that if the producers were to allow us posters to have an input, the show would be pretty cool (well, it already is but you know what I mean)....
