Wow, I was just playing with numbers and may have stumbled onto something.108 squared = 11,664 divide that by 24 to get 486... a food drop every 486 days maybe. That's pretty close.Got too excited.. its 494 days between those two lockdowns.April 8th, 2000... August 15th, 2001...![]()
Nice!
Three O'clock - "geological composition likely to cause magnetic interference with weather project"
Why didnt Henry Gale escape when he had the chance?
Keep it up guys, really looking forward to some analysis of the map.
I think he's trying to infiltrate the camp by winning their trust. What I want to know is what took him so long to get to Locke. He released the doors quickly and then it seemingly took him a while to re-appear. What was he doing? Why didnt Henry Gale escape when he had the chance?![]()
Shoot, I guess that confirms that I was wrong about Henry.Looks like I was right about the other thing from the previews though.the Canadian preview for next week was different
Sayid is questioning the prisoner. prisoner says he cant talk or "he " will kill him. They ask if "he" is the bearded guy. Prisoner says no, the bearded guy isn't important
Sayid may want to ask him a few more questions.I think he's trying to infiltrate the camp by winning their trust. What I want to know is what took him so long to get to Locke. thanks totally missed thatThe Iraqi woman who Locke did the home inspection for was Sayid's girlfriend ("If I had a husband, he would be glad to hear that").whats sayids girl mean??Good catch. I missed that.Sayid's girl ...
Anyone have a thought on this? What's the point of taking the dead guy's name?
Gave him something concrete to build a backstory off of. Odds are they got all the info off of Gale that they could, then killed him to ensure that any of the "Others" could overtake his identity and story should they be captured. Plus, they knew that if SOMEHOW people could do rudimentary research on a person's existence (don't ask me how) from the island, it would look accurate. Just my guess.Anyone have a thought on this? What's the point of taking the dead guy's name?
Anyone think he purposefully got himself caught in that net trap?Anyone have a thought on this? What's the point of taking the dead guy's name?
This seems like a stretch. He could have just made up a name and identity. Or even used his real name. It's not like the survivors know anything about him.Gave him something concrete to build a backstory off of. Because it made for a good conclusion to the show last night? This seems like a stretch. He could have just made up a name and identity. Or even used his real name. Assume they'll have something to do with that.So those two goons are going to break Locke's legs, right?
That would be incredibly lame if true. What about the possibility that he actually is the real Henry Gale, and the black guy had a fake ID?Because it made for a good conclusion to the show last night? This seems like a stretch. How many black guys can there possibly be in Minnesota? What about the possibility that he actually is the real Henry Gale, and the black guy had a fake ID?![]()

But the Henry Gale identity had things like a balloon and grave to help his story "check out."This seems like a stretch. He could have just made up a name and identity. Or even used his real name. Huh? Why does he need the name to use that story? But the Henry Gale identity had things like a balloon and grave to help his story "check out."
This is my point exactly. Seems like a stretch? Ummmm, polar bears on a tropical island? But the Henry Gale identity had things like a balloon and grave to help his story "check out."This seems like a stretch. Yup, I mentioned this earlier. No question in my mind the two are connected.I’m thinking the lockdown occurred because of the food drop.
home of HG henrey galeSome very interesting things from the "best map"

"Primary nexus of cerberus related activity"
In Greek mythology, the three-headed watchdog who guards the entrance to the lower world, the Hades. It is a child of the giant Typhon and Echidna, a monstrous creature herself, being half woman and half snake.
Originally, the dog was portrayed having fifty or hundred heads but was later pictured with only three heads (and sometimes with the tail of a serpent). Cerberus permitted new spirits to enter the realm of dead, but allowed none of them to leave. Only a few ever managed to sneak past the creature, among which Orpheus, who lulled it to sleep by playing his lyre, and Heracles, who brought it to the land of the living for a while (being the last of his Twelve Labors).
In Roman mythology, the Trojan prince Aeneas and Psyche were able to pacify it with honey cake.
"Sightings coincide with emergency shutdown of Intranet services of heightened security"
Are these "sightings" like Jack seeing his dad, Shannon and Sayid seeing Walt and Kate and Sawyer seeing the horse?
"Stated goal, de-territorial(is the rest of the word cut off?) of Ursus Maritimus through gene therapy and extreme climate change"
Ursus Maritimus, if you didn't know, is the latin name for polar bear, which we've seen on the island. I'm thinking the word may be missing "isation" as in the de-territorialisation of polar bears.
From under The Swan
4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42
We all know these numbers, far too well
"Stationwide failure of Dharmatel Intranet and then a series of numbers I can't quite make out
"Complete shutdown in effect"
"PRD of every 6-8 months
Fatalities: 8" The numbers are again unclear to me so someone may be able to help more with these numbers.
Home of HG(? I can't make it out clearly) delegation inspection of 12.07.85(Again numbers unclear)
was Kelvin part of this?
Multiple escape conduits blocked after incident
This is probably the concrete that Sayid and Jack discovered while "under" the hatch.
Possible recreation area for D.I.N.G. survey team
"No *indecipherable* location for Dharmatel *indecipherable*cabling or infrastructure"
Is this a reference to the cable from the ocean Sayid found?
I didn't trust him from the start. At first I thought he was an "other" but it clearly seems he is a Hanso employee. Question is, does he know Desmond or where he is?Maybe Gale is a member of a 3rd group (not others or crash survivors). Maybe he is part of the group that "runs" the island.
My guess? Divide and conquer. He has been working to divide Jack and Locke since his arrival and he's been succeeding. Perhaps that's why he was allowed to be captured or perhaps once he was captured that was his plan all along -- to drive a wedge within the group so that they would splinter and weakend. By attempting to bond with Locke he may have thought he could lure Locke to his side eventually and that would strengthen the Others and weaken the survivors.Just a guess. Why didnt Henry Gale escape when he had the chance?![]()
And the outside-world people are part of the Dharma project. However small of a point it may be, we did learn something last night - somebody from the outside world knows there are people on this island, with the latest rations being dropped that can only mean someone ordered a plane to fly overhead and make the drop.
i was expecting them to shoot him in the back right after his GF drove away. figured he'd get it in the spinal cord.So those two goons are going to break Locke's legs, right?
I agree, but the question is why?Does the hatch go into lockdown anytime a plane flys into its radar?Yup, I mentioned this earlier. No question in my mind the two are connected.I’m thinking the lockdown occurred because of the food drop.
