Well of course. I think all options, including trading AP and Jared Allen should be on the table.Time to blow it up.If the Vikings end up with the #1 draft pick they need to listen to any and all offers.

I'm surprised he hasn't been fired yet. He is absolutely terrible and he has looked lost since the games began. He buttered us all up with some great talk during the offseason but he failed to deliver on any of the things he was describing he would change. The offense has been an absolute joke, the defense has been embarrassing, even special teams has been terrible. He talked about utilizing his best players and focusing the offense on our playmakers but he has delivered the exact opposite. Force feeding Harvin to start almost every game just to keep the media and fans off his back has done nothing but put our team in big holes to try and climb out of. Its time for Wylf to step up and hire a real coach, he hasn't been shy about spending money on players but he seems to like to be cheap with coaches like Childress and Frazier. Put some real money down if you want a new stadium, hire a decent coach, hire a real GM and get this team back to being a legit NFL team. This, Frazier is a nice guy, but in over his head. And I am so sick of the Tamp/Cover 2 I can't stand it.We really should draft a coach.luck will be better than rg3 forget about it but the vikes should keep ponder he is a good developing player and get some help at other positions such as coach and offensive line
It looks like the Colts still have the inside track for the number 1. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/32118/can-the-colts-lose-the-top-pickIf the Vikings and Colts and Rams all end up with 2 wins- does anyone know who would win the tiebreakers?
Full Season Strength of Schedule
Colts (1-13) -- .538 (120-103)
Vikings (2-12) -- .567 (127-97)
Rams (2-12) -- .588 (130-91)
I think Pagac is in way over his head...granted the secondary has been depleted because of a ton of reasons...Pagac doesn't seem to make any kind of adjustments to account for the personnel changes.I'm surprised he hasn't been fired yet. So, if the Colts can win vs. The Jags next week, and the Vikings lose their last two,The Off season is going to be one of the funniest off season for us Viking fans in a long long time!!!» When there is a tie for draft order, the first tiebreaker is strength of schedule, with the team with the easier (lower) strength of schedule picking first.
» If the Colts lose to the Texans, the best their strength of schedule could be at the end of the season is .5469.
» If the Vikings lose their final two games, the worst their strength of schedule could be also is .5469.
» The Rams' strength of schedule could be at worst .5586, so they cannot land the No. 1 pick if the Colts lose a 14th game because Indy's best strength of schedule would be lower than the worst possible for St. Louis.

off season just entered the
Frazier is paying attention.Unfortunately I would guess Vikes will win next week with Webb at QB, because quite frankly the guy can do no wrong. All he does is lead a hapless team on scoring drives. The pass to Rudolph was brilliant. Too bad no one at Winter Park ever thought of him as a franchise QB, but for his sake I hope someone in the NFL is paying attention to the nice little resume he's putting together.
We have Webb signed for a few more seasons. Both Ponder and Webb look really good at times, and both look really bad at others.
Vikings will take a 'real hard look' at starting Joe Webb
--Tom Pelissero
Two appearances. Two rallies.
That was enough for coach Leslie Frazier to open the door on Saturday afternoon for the possibility of Joe Webb as the Minnesota Vikings' quarterback of the future.
"Some of the things he does, man, and what it does to the rest of our team -- you can't ignore it," Frazier said after Webb led three touchdown drives in relief of injured Christian Ponder and the Vikings beat the Washington Redskins 33-26.
"It's something we're going to take a real hard look at as we go forward. He definitely lifts our team. He's done it. He did it a season ago as well."
Webb threw only five passes, completing four of them for 84 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran five times for 34 yards and another score after taking over with the Vikings trailing 13-10 and 10:40 left in the third quarter.
This, 13 days after Webb relieved Ponder at Detroit, sliced a 17-point deficit to six and had the Vikings only 1 yard from what could have been the winning touchdown.
"Magic. He's gifted, man," receiver Percy Harvin said. "He's one of the gifted players that you can't describe. You can't practice it. Not too many teams got quarterbacks that can do what he does."

What he said. The Vikes have so many needs at this point that losing one spot in the draft is probably not a big deal. If they can't take kalil, move onto Blackmon or a DB. Of course, this being the Vikings, they'll end up beating the Bears next week and it'll cost them a shot at the top guys at each of those positions...'Donnybrook said:Losing Peterson sucks but I can't say that I was all that disappointed in the win. I was more disappointed that the team wasn't playing up to its potential in the previous losses. Besides, moving down the draft board a spot or two is not the end of the world. Vikings now have the option to take Blackmon or move down for a corner back and extra pick or two. I also imagine that a QB needy team may want to trade into the top 2 for Griffen which means Kalil will still be available at 3.
So they should trade out of the top to and back into the 3rd spot?If they were to trade out of the 3rd spot, it would probably be to Cleveland at 5, Washington at 7, Miami at 8, and mayyyybe Kansas City at 10.'Donnybrook said:I also imagine that a QB needy team may want to trade into the top 2 for Griffen which means Kalil will still be available at 3.
I sometimes let my imagination run away with me. I was assuming that Luck and Griffen go top 2 and either Indy or St Louis trade down. Probably too early to guess what might happen. So they should trade out of the top to and back into the 3rd spot?'Donnybrook said:I also imagine that a QB needy team may want to trade into the top 2 for Griffen which means Kalil will still be available at 3.

I wouldn't mind them ending up at any of those spots. There are quite a few CBs that they could take in the top 15. If they want a tackle they'll likely have to stay in the top 10 though.
I gotcha. I'm hoping for Kalil. I still think that Ponder is the future but even if Webb somehow wins the job, the team still needs to protect whomever is standing back there.I sometimes let my imagination run away with me. Congrats, I really hope the Vikes stay, great fanbase, more than deserving they are part of the NFL bedrock. But I do think if the Vikes want to return to the Super Bowl they need to play outdoors again. Four SB appearances when outside, none since. As Packer fans if they enjoy knowing teams have to factor in weather when going to GB in January.http://eye-on-football.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22475988/34041683Seems like we are in Mudville, and the clouds and rain arent going away, but this is something.. If we moved to LA, I would never watch football again. And I love football. Hopefully they get a deal done.
