Official MLB playoffs thread: 23 hour game exhausts all ball supplies (1 Viewer)

Who wins it all?

Benches getting thin and Roberts replaces Urias after one inning and loses Kershaw for the rest of the game for a pinch hit.

Makes sense

So is Wood that much worse of a hitter than kershaw? Why not just let Wood hit there? That is just an amazing decision. I can’t get over that.

Just voted for the Fighting Ueckers. Somebody has to win and doesn't look like it'll be the Doyers or Red Sox

It's 3:30 am here this is ####### ridiculous. I'm not even a baseball fan but got sucked into watching this game with friends.........at 8 pm

####### finally. Pretty sure the trains here in Boston stopped running hours ago, this uber should be pricey. Wonder how the sports bars handled this one. Were they kicking people out? They allowed to stay open and keep serving?

Eovaldi was a beast... You could see he was tired at the end there though.

Nice to see Muncy get the game winner.

I'm rooting for Boston in this WS, but I'm happy to see it going at least five games now.

Max Muncy had a 891 OPS vs lefties this year yet Diamond Dave sat him vs lefties the last two months and in the playoffs. Sigh.

That HR was off a righty, but still. He and Bellinger should be in every game now, regardless of matchup.

Dodgers should have won 3 innings ago, no way they win this.
Holy hell. Y'all are some troopers. I dozed off in the 14th. What a game. I'm guessing Eovaldi won't be starting game 4 as scheduled. It's kind of impressive LA bullpen held up so long, and they were all short enough performances to still be available today.

I’d feel a lot better if Sox lost last night in nine and Eovaldi wasn’t burned, this makes it interesting though.

ERod or Sale tonight I guess? Kind of hoping they save Sale for game 5 and piece this one together. For coming off an 18 inning game the Sox bullpen really didn’t get taxed. If they start Sale tonight on short rest and lose they’re kind of porked.

Was just thinking this. The jokes are funny, but joke's sort of on the Sox right now. No Eovaldi, who threw close to a full-on start last night. Oof.

My pops was at the game last night. Had never been to a WS game. He picked a winner. He's getting up there in age, so I hope he made it home ok. Thankfully he lives only 20 min from Dodger stadium.

I say go with Sale and take your chances. Boston still gets to face Kershaw, so they'll only have to win one other game. They could basically wrap it up tonight.
