I have always heard to broads at Ole Miss are top notch....maybe the word is finally getting to all the high schoolers and fast kids
This is true. It's also true that their facilities are bottom notch. Serious fishiness in this class.
Yep, top notch hook, er, co-eds. They'll get their share of players just based on that alone (and who can blame them?). But if the young athletes look at just about anything else on campus and in the program they'll go elsewhere.

A'Shawn Robinson has apparently decided he's flipping from Texas to Alabama.... 6'5" 302 is a good place to start for an 18 yr old. :towelwave:

If you have facts about a violation, send it to compliance@olemiss.edu. If not, please do not slander these young men or insult their family

Texas is being outed as a place that lacks in "coaching up". They get all these 4 and 5 star recruits, but 4 years later they haven't progressed. Just my opinion, but the coaching staff really needs to be looked at by the administration. So much talent in that state and the states they recruit to not be in the National Championship picture every single year like Alabama is right now. A&M is going to be dominating that state very soon.

Raylan Givens concurs.

Yep. UT's class has been better on paper than OU's 8 of the last 10 years. Several years significantly better. But it is not reflected on the field.

Reese Dismukes is throwing his hat in the ring for recruiter of the year.
What a crazy turn of events. They still can get Foster, but if they dont it will be one of the bigger loses in memory...especially after that speech stunt the coaches pulled. Auburn is experiencing some serious karma.

Foster announces tonight at 10....although the drama may not end there.

Former Southern Cal commit and four star defensive end, Kylie Fitts, is announcing tomorrow night at 7 Pacific. His finalists are UCLA, Southern Cal, and Notre Dame. He's expected to announce for UCLA.And, almost every recruiting site is now calling Vanderdoes to UCLA. Well see about that at 5 Pacific on Wednesday.

Ole Miss going SMU on the recruiting world - now in the drivers seat for Robert Nkemdiche, Laremy Tunsil, Laquon Treadwell, Chris Jones, etc

247 guy picked ND today....but said his sources were very mixed.

Foster picks Alabama.
For those who don't know the story....here's a quick summary:Foster commits to Alabama early. Then during last summer, he and his mother move to Auburn, he enrolls at Auburn High, and a few weeks later shows up with a giant Auburn tattoo. He then calls a press conference and flips to Auburn.Backup to January '12....5 star RB TJ Yeldon flips from Auburn to Alabama a few days before NSD. Yeldon gives a quick low key speech about how difficult a decision it was, but he felt he was doing what was best for him.Now back to Fosters flip. At his presser, he gives the same speech Yeldon did 8 months earlier...word for word. The theory is he didn't realize it, and the AU coaches wrote his speech. That was a great example of what kind of people were running Auburn football (and some still are).So Foster is an Auburn guy for months. But over the final weekend before NSD, while on his final official visit in Auburn, Foster apparently got into an argument with a current Auburn player and left town on Saturday and drove to Tuscaloosa. Now for the second year in a row, they lose their top recruit to their arch rival. Things haven't been much lower, and they deserve it.

Saban only has 22 commits so far?....he's slipping. Gotta get to work if you're going to sign 40 some HS kids by NSD.Getcha Grayshirts ready.
It looks like he'll sign 26. 25 SEC limit and 1 kid grey-shirted a few weeks ago.Maybe 27 if one is a back-counter....but I haven't seen that confirmed. Previous 3 classes were 26, 22, and 26.

GDogg, no comments about the 2 or 3 guys that UCLA is likely to lose to Oregon? :boxing: :P
Devon Allen picked the Ducks over the Bruins, which hurt a bit as UCLA needed another fast WR. But, other than him, UCLA and Oregon aren't competing for any of the same recruits.

Tennessee adds a speedy 3 star RB yesteday and is back in the top25 of Rivals rankings. Vonn Bell is the last "big fish" on the list....hopefully he comes on board.

I guess FSU just flipped somebody big, because my twitter blew up.
Jalen Ramsey....USC was the original commit I think, but UF was also considered still in it.Number 39 player overall at 247....number 15 composite. CB.
Was just reading rumblings that now Hatcher is decommitting to go to Kentucky?? Really?? Losing recruits to Kentucky??? :lmao:
Torrodney Prevot...4-star DE from Houston....apparently just decommitted 15 minutes ago! They can sign 18 from what I've seen...they now have 11. Unbelievable.

Yeah. Prevot wasn't unexpected, though. I didn't see any "expert" who actually thought he was going to sign with Southern Cal despite his commitment.Southern Cal is apparently making a run at Priest Willis and Tahaan Goodman now with so many of their players decommitting.

So he's trying to pilfer UCLA...were they kids who would have gone to USC if they had more room initially? Its catching up now....signing JUCO kids and transfers like Redd was a move to be loaded for a specific year. That imploded. Now he's going to be chasing spots. So does he reach for kids a little lower ranked this year to make sure he has spots filled, or does he gamble and try to sign higher ranked back counters next year?

Tahaan Goodman probably would have. Willis is the top CB on the West Coast and could have gone there if he wanted to.I think the smart thing to do would be to sign as many players as you can that you think can contribute. With Kiffin, there are no guarantees. They will be projected next year to finish 2nd or 3rd in the Pac-12 South. If they have another down year, they may have a really tough time filling their slots again. They need to get the bodies while they can because if they don't, it will be all that more difficult to get to 85 scholarships when the sanctions are up in a couple years.

From Joe Davidson of the Sacremento Bee ‏@SacBee_JoeD Just had a good, hearty long chat with Vanderdoes family;speculation that Eddie is locked into a school is FALSE.Although 247 guy thinks Alabama is out and signs safety Tony Conner for the last spot.

Lots of talk about Priest Willis to LSU. Why are his parents out of town on NSD? How come he doesn't know when they are coming back? Anybody have any thoughts on this?

One of the top storylines in college football recruiting for the 2013 cycle just got even more interesting.Defensive end Chris Jones, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect, is making an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend. He is committed to Mississippi State currently.Rebels247 reported last night that five-star defensive end Chris Jones, the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect, was on an official visit to Ole Miss. Jones, from Houston (Miss.), is currently committed to Mississippi State. The Rebels have been working to get the 6-foot-6, 270-pounder on campus for an official for weeks and have him in right now.It could not have been a better weekend for him to visit if spending time with other top national prospects is of interest to the talented pass rusher.Ole Miss has the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect, defensive end Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson), the nation’s top offensive line prospect, tackle Laremy Tunsil (Lake City, Fla./Columbia), five-star safety Tony Conner (Batesville, Miss./South Panola) and five-star receiver and Ole Miss commit Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Ill.) on campus for officials.Nkemdiche and Conner are considered leans to the Rebels while Tunsil is said to have Georgia and Alabama at the top of his list with an edge to the Bulldogs.Should the Rebels flip Jones from their in-state rivals and sign Nkemdiche as expected, it would give Ole Miss the nation’s top two prospects out of the high school ranks, along with the nation’s top junior college prospect, defensive tackle Lavon Hooks (Northeast Mississippi Junior College), who signed with Ole Miss in December.
Chris Jones signed with Mississippi State. I really thought he was flipped to Ole Miss. Big news in Starkville!
