***Official OHIO STATE-MICHIGAN Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Man, what a game.  Good game Michigan fans.  I was jumping and yelling.  Holy cow.  So glad the game ends the way it did.

I feel cursed. Tigers fan, UM fan and Lions fan. It's been one disappointment after another over the last decade. Lions I can live with, the other teams have taken some rough Ls.

I hope they go, as I am a OSU fan.  I just think that they needed a dominant game to not get to the Big 10 championship and get in.  It is not about holding serve, but the whole resume at the end of the year.
I think you should take a few moments and look at "the whole resume" of both teams. Feel free to give PSU a win against MSU today and Wisconsin in the next game.

Im on a flight and watched updates here and on cbs.  I have one Michigan fan on facebook who has been complaining the refs are trying to hand OSU the game.  He has been the entire time and only upped his complaints at the end.  The rest of my UM fan friends havent said a peep.  Were they just too invested in the game and my buddy is right, or is he just a homer

Osu probably got a few more calls (or no calls) but UM had their share especially on a few big plays. I've seen WAY worse and lopsided games. I don't think Harbaugh helps matters, I think Urb is respected a lot more on the sidelines personally.

OSU's resume without a win over UM was #2. Adding a win over UM makes their resume even better. I honestly don't see a scenario unfolding where they aren't ranked in the top 4 at the end now.

His forward progress was stopped by his own player - not a defensive player. By rule he should have been ruled down where he ended up, not the maximum of his forward progress.
:ptts:

If your QB wasn't throwing interceptions and your coach wasn't handing out 5 yard gifts when OSU is in the red zone, UM would have won the game in regulation. Putting this loss on a judgement call by the refs that could have gone either way is ridiculous given how sloppy UM played. Hell they played so sloppy they lost to a team that couldn't kick gimme FGs.

I couldn't care less who won. I'm a Big 10 guy for sure and I'll be rooting for Ohio State all the way now just like I would have Michigan, but that was a bad call. I'm unbiased on this. I really am. It was just a really bad call the directly led to the outcome regardless what may or may not have happened earlier (which I didn't see as I was during to Indy to take my oldest son out to dinner). Just literally caught the overtime and immediately saw that that was a bs call.

All I can say is "whew! "  It was a great game and,  honestly,  I thought Michigan was the better team. OSU got some lucky breaks.

I wouldn't have a problem with OSU and Michigan getting in the playoffs .

F Penn State .

This is why I think 2 teams from the same conference should not be allowed into the 4 team playoff.  The Big 10 had every reason to want Ohio State to win this game, because it's their only chance to get 2 teams in. If you watched this game with that thought in mind, you would notice that OSU got every questionable call/no call or spot in their favor. When there is the amount of money on the line that we have here, you have to question it.

:tinfoilhat:

Wow, Harbaugh crying like a baby in his post-game about the officiating.  And getting hammered by TV hosts.  Now he gets to pay a nice fine.

The refs were getting sick of him in the 1st half. After 4 quarters and 1 OT of putting up with his crap, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they purposely were generous with that spot for OSU.

Wrong - so ####### wrong.

He was going down as a result of contact from a UM player.  If he hadn't smacked into his own player he would have finished even further.  In addition, he made not only to the yellow line, he made to the white yardage line beyond the 1st down marker.

Note that the TV referee official also called it correctly.

Nope.
