Just so Commish knows he isn't on an island... As you can tell, I moved from Ohio (that's what the Buckeye part of the nick means, has nothing to do with OSU) to Texas a long time ago. While I do route for OSU to this day, I didn't get even remotely wound up about this game. Yes, I understand the rivalry and all that. But what the Commish says is true for me too, right now, it's just another game. No title implications at all. It has stolen a lot of the luster away from the game. Admittedly, I didn't even see the second half this year. Wife had some errands she wanted to run so we went and ran them. Didn't even Tivo the game. Wanted OSU to win, sure. But it wasn't worth missing out on other thngs for. Not sure if moving away is solely responsible. I think getting older is too. I don't get riled up to anywhere near the extent I did when I was younger. But I would never hang my season on one game. People that say things like "Well we went 1-10, but at least we beat XXX" really baffle me. That's the sound of just accepting losing.
