Oh, and the most special thing about last night, for me, as a NYC resident that loves this city to my core, is that they raised 3 million dollars for the Robin Hood Foundation!

They played for free (which is awesome) and all money goes to those who need it, the RH board covers all overhead expenses for the foundation...

http://www.robinhood.org/home.aspx

It's really an amazing charity...

Sooooooo wiped out from the past 5 days...I left my apartment Fri AM and went to work fully expecting to not go up to Boston, and ended uyp not home again until 2 AM this morning...So many highlights, last night's Beacon show was ridiculous!Great set, but the feeling was amazingAs I have said, I LOVE the Beacon, and it was so great to see PJ thereEddie was wiped...Had to take a steroid shot yesterday AM to get his voice back so he could sing last nightHarvest moon was awesome, Low Light, Light Years, etcWow
Why are you awake already?Edited to add: Should have probably said....how are you awake already?

Under the "More Info" link, it showed tickets at $77. Were that that much for the West Coast swing? Don't recall, as I did not buy them. No complaints, but thought they were a little less than that.TU, glad to hear the Beacon was awesome (as expected). Bummed I was not there, but what are you gonna do?

1800 capacity at Warner Theatre... sounds like luck of the draw on the tix... $77 is good for a floor seat but not so much upper balcony... Dunno.

I know how you feelEd mentioned last night they were limping across the finish lineI feel the same wayJust looking forward to my bed tonight for a good night's sober sleep before 4th of July weekend craziness begins again tomorrow

The crowd in Camden 1 is clearly more vocal than the first four shows...
Camden/Philly still has the loudest and most energetic PJ crowds, imo  Can't wait to hear these Camden boots. Love Reign from Night 1 was TIGHT

NJPAC is a sweet venue as well. Now, for the big question (without looking at his setlists): Did EV mix up his sets enough that this is a multiple gig tour? PJ is costing me too much $$$ this summer:)...not sure if another 3 gig swing is in the budget.

The West Coast tour was generally the same set, with a couple of differences at some shows

I am pretty freakin steamed right now... :)

No Philly show(s)? I know we just had the Camden shows, but it makes no sense to skip Philly over completely on this solo tour especially when we have more than one venue that would be great for a EV show in this setting....

Signed,

Spoiled Fan

I am only hitting one show on this tour and because of that, I will go all out to get the best seat possible...as long as I hear Millworker and most of the ITW stuff, I'll be a happy camper... Not too much variation between shows on the West Coast Tour and I've heard enough Ed stories in my previous 28 shows. :D

Looking at the last show in Chicago as a potential stop...never been there and it falls on my 30th birthday, so it will be a nice little present to myself? Who wants to chip in?

Does anyone know when the regular tix go on sale? I'm going to try for Milwaukee and Chicago. I can't stop listening to the EV solo at Berkeley boot. I have to get to one of those shows.

I'm tied up on the 16th (local fantasy draft) - gdb zilla, I would have made the trip. A sunday night show prob isn't going to happen, can't take off much from work.

I will say that since they upgraded all of our computers and the ethernet lines here at work, I've been pretty lucky with the 10C sales

No, I was...4,5 and 6

I think the NJ show will be very hard also, espcially as people get suut out of the NYC shows and decide to try for that one

United Palace holds about 4K, so I'm guessing the 10C have about 400 tix, or 200 pairs for each show

That's going to be hella tough

Anyone have the Light Years single by any chance? (Or know where to DL it?)

Met a dude at Boston who said the live version of Grievance on it was mind blowing

It was from the Binaural tour warm up show in Bellingham, WA on 5/10/00 which was never an official release

:loco:CoolI had the buy button but I've spent too much money traveling to see them this year as it is, so I coudln't pull the triggerI'll take my chances with NYC/NJ
It wasn't even that hard....i used the navy time clock....as soon as it hit 12 hit tickets...a little buy button...and 2 tickets...awesome!!! I hope the NY shows are that easy.

Yeah, it looks like they may have worked on some of the tech server load issues, even though it went OOS quickly, the site isn't crashing like it used to Buy NYC may well do it inFor the tour most of the other locales didn't sell immediately but MSG I and II crashed it

Exactly. That's how I got stuck w/ Ticketbastard tix for MSG 2...but, at least I was in the building :fishing: I wish the NJ show went on sale first, as it would be simpler to go there, but not going to take a chance on waiting for that one show.

TU, is it relatively simple to get to the venue from Penn Station?
