I have to have a rapidshare account to download these?

I need some help.

I got the Back Spacer cd for Christmas. My wife has the better computer so I had her download the two free concerts on her computer and then burned them to a cd. I then put the cd into my computer so I could get them onto my Zune using the Zune software. When I put the burned cds in I can play them but I cant get them into my Zune collection. I am not sure what I am doing wrong here. I have put other music onto my Zune using this method. Any ideas?

I dont even get a list of the songs in the Zune software like I do with other stuff. I got all of the live stuff from Jzilla on my Zune with song lists.

how long will it be before they announce who plays when at Jazzfest?
Best I can tell based on last year, about a month before the fest.
around March IIRC.As I said before, The Neville Brothers always close out the Sunday of Jazz Fest, so I'd be willing to bet alot that PJ is playing on Saturday night. There's a slight chance that it's Friday, but I doubt it.
looking like a chance that I may be able to pull this off. I might be shooting you some PMs about hotels later on.

Just got back from a couple days in NOLA. Still a very very fun spot. Hit the quarter some (for my buddy's first time) then had my old roommate (Covington Native / downtown NOLA Resident of 15 years) take us around to a few spots. Wish I could remember what they were.

Nothing to do with PJ other than to give NOLA Noobs an idea of what this city brings out in people....

Weekend went something like this:

6:50am - Board "City of New Orleans" Amtrak train

7:00am - crack first can of miller lite ($4.50) and break out the cribbage board.

12:00pm - Train runs out of Miller Lite despite my buddy and I being the only ones drinking at this point. Switch to Bud Light

2:00pm - With help of new neighboring table, we polish off the bud light - On to Bloody Marys

2:30pm - Bloody Mary Mix gone - Time for Sam Adams

3:00pm - We polish off the Sam Adams and they close the bar

3:30pm - Arrive in NOLA Check into Crown Plaza

4:00pm - Head to Bourbon for 3 for 1 drinks (Till 9pm).

6:00pm - Old Roommate arrives - Shots commence

8:00pm till 4:30am - $275 of uncertainty

5:00am - stumble into hotel

SUNDAY

10am - Wake/Shower

10:30am - Hit Sugar Shack for some Bloody's and PoBoys

Noon - Hit Club on Bourbon for Saint's Game - Place 60% Capacity with rowdy folks in saints jerseys including some smoking talent in modified saints jerseys

1pm - Buzzing nicely - Girls dancing on tables - Club 90% capacity - Shots commence

4pm - Saints lose - Crowd decides to start drinking more heavily to drown sorrows. Relocate to Razzoos Patio. It's MOBBED

5pm - Run into girls from other club at Razzoos. Shoot the #### for a while. Shots resume.

6pm - Girls start dancing. We're no way near dance floor

7pm - 2am - Hazy

2:30am - Crash back at hotel room

I think those free show downloads were pretty awful. Bad quality mp3's and just standard, run-of-the-mill sets. Keep an eye on this thread and you'll get much better shows from time to time.

Not required, but the way RS is working these days, it will take you a while to get 'em all if you want 'em.If running Firefox, you can try this to help:-https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8376Allows you to queue up a list of RS links, and will repeatedly check for open slots / timeouts to finish.

I enjoyed them but they are no where near as good as your stuff. I love Pearl Jam and I love EV but I wish he would #### about politics. He is not even consistent in his whining about it. I get really tired of it. I have the same feelings with U2. hell I even agree with Bono but still #### and play me a song. :excited:

Zilla and I have a room confirmed at the O'Keefe Plaza Hotel alsoThurs the 29th to Monday the 3rd####### PUMPED
looks like the place we're staying is two blocks from y'all.
Pretty sure the majority of the time will be spent outside the hotels at bars and #### anyway :goodposting: Poor Tipsy... has no idea what he's in for...
We should get a preliminary headcount and give him a heads up, make a reservation for dinner one nightAnd yes, I know this is 4 months away, but it's ####### freezing in NYC so I am thinking about New Orleans in May instead

yeah, only band I care about seeing is PJ. If they don't play Fri. or Sat., I'll be pissed.

Lots of PJ talk while tailgating for the Saints game yesterday....everyone is pretty pumped.

Good news/Bad news re: that weekend. I'm gonna have some cousins coming in town for the fest, plus a buddy's bachelor party that same weekend here in NOLA.....which is cool, but I might not be able to play FBG tour guide as much as I would like to. Either way, I'm going to put together a hit list of things to do.

:football: Understandable. If needed I have no problem stepping up and helping out in that dept if needed/wanted. I'm not even close to being a resident but I've been there a ton (just got back from a trip less than a month ago) so I'll be better than nothin :lmao:
