Just ordered ours. Figure we'll drive down (or take the train) friday early AM then hit the quarter or something Friday night (after dante's kitchen?). We really should set Dinner for Friday night.. maybe like 8:00pm? Give those folks who are hitting Jazzfest time to get out and make their way over to Dantes? THoughts? Don't want to do it TOO late as dinner will likely run at LEAST 90 mins if not 2 hours. Staring after that puts us back at the bars close to midnight. Not that Im gonna be hitting the hay early... just sayin. If nobody is planning on going Friday (or won't be staying through till the 7pm endtime) we could make dinner for 7pm.

It will be my Girl and I in our "group". If we have 8-10+ we can probably get him to hold us the private room we used for my buddy's pre-rehearsal dinner. Was an awesome setup.

#### looks like I won't be getting down till late Friday night now. GF is saying she can't get friday off.
Only time we could make the Dante's dinner is Saturday after the show (8:30ish?) That's kinda late and I'm assuming folks will be ####hammered so it's probably better to keep it on friday but that's you guys' call.
We'll likely be hitting brunch Sunday morning if this ends up holding true.

same weekend as jazzfest. I guess it's close enough for them to play Memphis either Friday or Sunday, but I wouldn't think they'd do it. We'll know for sure Thursday.

UPDATE! - GETTING IN EARLIER
GF got off for Friday so we're taking the Train down. We will be arriving in NOLA at 3:30 on Friday so we should be checked in and ready to meet up for Dinner by 5pm.
WHO'S IN FOR TIPSY'S?
Chris, we should see if he can block off the semi-private dining room assuming we have 7-8 folks (or more). It's a great room (if you've never eaten there). If not, maybe try to get something in the patio/garden area? Thoughts? I dont' mind handling the restaurant thing if you don't want to mess with that.
Was thinking maybe 7:30pm for dinner to give folks enough time to get in town, but also give us time to go out when dinner wraps up. Thoughts?

This sounds good.....would be better if you handled it only b/c as I mentioned before I'm gonna be juggling a bunch of different groups that weekend.I'm already working on trying to stake out a solid spot with a few other local die hard PJ friends of mine....so you folks won't have an issue figuring out the best place to be

That's the cool thing about having a large-ish group at a festivalYou can stake out an area and chill and still get up, hit the head, get some food/booze, etc without losing the spot

So I listened to Yield for the first time in at least I don't know some 6-7 years. Forgot how great this album was. And IMO was the last great PJ record.
Also I had been mulling over getting the Brendon O'Brian remix of Ten.....is it a dry version like the other mixes he did on the Greatest Hits CD? Worth the purchase? I loved the original mix with it's wetter sound than any other Pearl Jam record.
