***Official Pearl Jam Thread*** (8 Viewers)

I'm sure the Don't Gimme No Lip was better in E. Ruth, but the Ed talking was great in Cleveland's version of DGNL-->Smile.

He intro'd Stone as singer for DGNL, played DGNL, then intro'd Stone special guest on bass for Smile, played Smile, then props Jeff on guitar after Smile.

Would have been cool to have them b2b.
I'll keep this in mind, maybe I can make a couple mods, thought I might have to anyway to shake it out cleanly into separate but efficiently populated discs. I do have all the shows.

Jzilla, what's your username on Red Mosquito?  I used to frequent the synergy site way back when, but it got ridiculous and I ended up at Red Mosquito.  Then, I guess, FBG kinda took over.  Anyway, how is RM now?  And what other PJ sites do you use?
Bobcat is the RM guy, not me.I've only ever posted on PJ.com, and I don't really like that board. I'm a Pearl Jam fan but Jesus, those people are friggin nuts (and Ten Club elitists)
I'm just starting to post over there a little bit again. I used to frequently, then went dorment, and then the board changed or something like that. They closed out a bunch of inactive accounts, one being mine. So I just started up grieving rats a few months ago.I've never posted at Synergy/pj.com.

JZilla, you frequent the Red Mosquito boards?  I thought you might be able to give a nice writeup over there for everyone, sorta like Nakedeye66 did.

I was just coming in here to say somebody just uploaded the exact thing (in FLACs) I've been working on at a torrent site I frequent. And you know what... I'm GLAD because I've been busy as hell. It's amazing, it really looks like he/they had a lot of the exact same ideas I did. As soon as it's up in mp3 I am going grab his. I may tweak it A LITTLE if it doesn't fall out like I wanted mine too, as far as disk openers, etc. But it looks really good. From there I will gladly make it available to you h0m0s somehow or another. Will advise.
I know you don't post there, but did you look at that thread? Here are the poll results so far. Alot of people are voting for GR, but there are some guys on there that are saying no way is that the best boot quality wise, just a great set list. The one guy that has listened to them all and wrote up that big review said Cleveland and Detroit are the two best.

Toronto I 0% [ 0 ]

Toronto II 4% [ 6 ]

Albany 8% [ 10 ]

Hartford 0% [ 1 ]

Chicago I 0% [ 0 ]

I wondered if they tagged this mega setlist (or is it going to come up as each specific concert - a ##### to change all of them in Itunes).

Cool thread. I would probably say Cleveland or Chicago II. Very hard call though, could make a case for 4-5 others.

I can probably do that too, if it's not done already. Won't know til I have it all, this is on pace to take about another 6 hours.I should have a pretty uneventful weekend (knock on wood - I am on call) so I'll do what I can to get this optimizzled.

Sorry about the confusion. Yeah, I was on Synergy back when I first started reading message boards in the 90's. How funny does that sound? Anyway, it got flooded by kids, I think, but whatever. Never posted much at RM. Just wondering what sites you recommend, Bobcat, if any.I return you all to your disussion on this awesome collection we are going to have...thanks.

 Very easy to change in iTunes... just select all songs and you can bulk change album, etc

Anyone making this available for easy download?

I'll plan on having it up by the end of the weekend.

"If you guys want to stick around, we're willing to make this the longest PJ show that ever has been told."

Ahhhh, reliving greatness. What a great moment in time, those 3+ hours. I've been listening to this sucker all afternoon.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^The Man

Just went through that game, actually. I like it; but apprehensive. I just can never bet a game confidently in Coors Field. Kim sucks, but has had some success against them. For those two reasons, I will probably lay off, or go small.

I'm drinking, so it will probably be the latter.

Damn, man. You see this Kilgore? Still stuck at 99%. This happens sometimes and I have no idea why. It seems almost fishy because it's always around 99%. I don't know enough about bittorrents though. Why would the seeder not give up the whole thing?

Sucks anyway. Quite a few incomplete tracks here. I'm going to have to fill it out by hand :sadbanana:

actually, not too bad, only 13. it was worse last night. weird.

Are you downloading the MP3 version or the FLAC? I went for the mp3 version, and yeah, something is not right with that torrent. I'm tempted to try the FLAC download. As far as why this happens, I don't know.

Can somone explain what is going on in here?

Assume I am an idiot.
Zilla and I are trying to download a torrent from a private music site.
I should have bolded the idiot part. What is a torrent? I am guessing it is concert music off the innernet? If I am correct can I hear it?

I truly am not very computer savy. :bag:

I plugged in the remaining tracks myself. Screw that guy.Definitely getting there now. I am listening to the collection and working on the upload as we speak.
