***Official Pearl Jam Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Ran across this blog in the RM. Check it out if your interested in PJ's Christmas Singles.
Yeah, I have every single one except for the first one. Eventually I'll get it on ebay
:hi:I got one

Plus the set of custom guitar picks that some folks got when they started up the 10 club Have one for Stone, Jeff, Ed and Mike... Each has different art (can't find them online anywhere..guesss they're pretty damn rare) :X

HEre's Eddie's from the Memphis show in 2000 or so (Got one of these too...threw it down to me after playing Rearview Mirror because I let him use my lighter during the show):

YouTube - Eddie Vedder and Laird Hamilton

Sorry if that's already been posted, I just ran across it by accident.

Stole this from the pearl jam board....but it looks like PJ is confirmed to play at Pinkpop in Holland this summer. I take this as good news for a possilbe Spring tour in the south :wall:

Just listened to the broadcast of this morning and found the announcement...you can check it out here if you understand Dutch:

http://sites.3fm.nl/page/sr06_audio . Go to Friday 22 december and click on 09.00am-10.00am button.

When media player opens you need to go to the time: 39:08 !!!!!

Let me tell you what it says:

A guy is waiting in front of the window of the glass house where the radio-station is broadcasting from (for a good cause). The DJ walks up to him to ask him what he wants to donate...the part of the conversation on PJ goes like this:

Guy: Goodmorning Giel (=DJ), I wanna give you money for a request. Because we are from festivalsite.com

DJ: Oh yeah.

Guy: And you said it wednesday already, you confirmed Maria Mena for Pinkpop..

DJ: yeah..

Guy: and the Lost Prophets. The Lost Prophets have indeed themselves said this about 5 times during their concert. But we would like to add something to that...Pearl Jam...

DJ: NO!

Guy:...we are confirming them!

DJ: No!..

Guy: Yes!

DJ: You are kidding me?!

GUY: No!..its true. So we collected 115 euros for ah..

DJ: You are sure about this hee?!!!

Guy: yes I am sure..99% sure!

DJ: WOW, Pearl Jam on Pinkpop people! Thats has been a long time ago! Old times relive (haha ) !

Guy: Yes, so its 115 Euro for a Pearl Jam song..Black.

DJ: Yeah, thats is clear...I will play it. Super, thanks man.

Hope I translated it ok...but this seems for real!!!

Here is the forum this guy is the administator of..

Another heavy rumor of Europe and US touring in 2007 on the PJ message board. This came from MusicScene. I stress these haven't been confirmed by Pearl Jam officials yet (thread title is wrong), however the mods haven't shut the thread down.

More developments on the PEARL JAM front. As reported by MusicScene late last year, the band has revealed their plans to release a 3-DVD set covering their mammoth 2006 World Tour. We can confirm that the set will be a compilation-style format, much like their previous DVD release 'Touring Band 2000' (2000). The box set will hit stores sometime in May.

We are also excited to announce that they will return to the stage for an exclusive string of European and US shows in mid-2007!

To open their return of Europe, PEARL JAM will make their third appearance at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands in May, followed by slots at the Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring Festivals in Germany. After winding their way up through Denmark, Sweden and Poland they will be ready to rock the UK for four huge shows, concluding in London on June 21st. We understand that a number of major venues in cities along the US East and South-East coast, including Tampa, West Palm and Atlanta, have been booked by the band. More details soon.

Bonnarumors

Forget Coachella (Chili Peppers?!) -- the real buzz festival, again, is Bonnaroo. This e-mail's making the rounds, and while we're skeptical, remember Radiohead's farm gig was almost too good to be true too.

Sources close to the Manchester Times have recieved confirmation that The Police, Bob Dylan, and Pearl Jam have been confirmed to headline the 2007 Bonnaroo Music Festival. The lineup also includes Tom Waits, Willie Nelson, Umphrey's McGee, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Black Crowes, Ryan Adams, My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire, Keller Williams Band, Hot Chip, America, TV on the Radio, Fountains of Wayne, Modest Mouse, Les Claypool, The Shins, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Toots and the Maytals, The Roots, The Decemberists, Of Montreal, Cat Power, Ozomatli, Perpetual Groove, Band of Horses, John Butler Trio, Nickel Creek, Medeski Martin and Wood, Lily Allen, Neko Case, Keiren Hedben (Four Tet) & Steve Reid, The Hold Steady, Earl Scuggs, Charlie Louvin, Man Man, Grizzly Bear, Konono #1, The Slip, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Uncle Earl, Annuals, Beirut, M. Ward, Cold War Kids, and Girl Talk. Superfly Productions plans to officially announce the lineup on January 31st.

Pray amongst yourselves.

Here’s what’s gonna happen this summer: Just as we suspected they’re going to pull Zach de la Rocha out from wherever he’s hiding and put him onstage at Coachella for a Rage Against the Machine reunion. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bjork, Sonic Youth and The Smashing Pumpkins will also play. Then, a few months later, Bob Dylan, The Police, and Pearl Jam will rock Bonnaroo. John Lennon, Elvis, and James Brown will rise from the dead to play encores at both events.

Today the fan club posted the following :Link

That busy little birdy told us now would be a good time to make sure your Ten Club membership is current and active because there's some stuff coming up and you don't want to be singing the blues if you miss out.

Wow, that's a beak-full for a little birdy!
This is almost definite signs of an upcoming tour  :pickle: ;) :pickle: :lmao:

I wish there was a way to renew a lapsed membership. My member number was so f'n low, but after about 3-4 years I let it lapse because PJ never played anywhere near me. Now I wish I hadn't, I'd be sitting front row at every damn show.

Do you remember what your member # was?Try emailing the ten club and explaining your situation. There is a chance that they might reinstate it. They've done it before, but I'm not sure if they still do. Can't hurt to ask.

Really? Holy cow, that would be unreal.I have no idea what my member # was - this was back in like 1991-2 - I was signed up before the Evenflow video even hit MTV.

:kicksrock: That IS a shame. Do you have any old mailings or anything at all? Maybe if you got lucky, somebody would be nice and look it up by name/address. I'd give it a shot.

I just e-mailed them and gave them my sob story. We'll see what happens. I told them I used to blanket all the area radio stations in NJ/NY with phone calls requesting "Alive," "Garden," "Oceans," etc.. before they were really well-known outside of Seattle (all true.) Perhaps they'll reward that loyalty, but I'm not holding my breath.
