Really wish I lived out West now:

Eddie Vedder will embark on a small, west coast, solo tour beginning

April 2nd in Vancouver, BC and ending April 15th in San Diego, CA. The

Ten Club has scheduled a pre-sale for eligible members and we wanted you

to be the first to know!

Ten Club pre-sale tickets will go up for purchase on

http://www.tenclub.net/goods/ beginning at 10am PST on Monday, February

18, 2008. There are a very limited amount of tickets, so once sold out

through the Ten Club, your next available chance to purchase tickets

will be during the public on-sale.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, February 22nd

at 10am* PST through www.ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster

outlets. (*Note: Santa Barbara goes on sale Friday, February 29th at 10am

PST).

Fan Club members active as of Feb. 14th will qualify for the 10c

pre-sale. Due to the limited amount of fan club tickets available only US and

Canadian members will qualify for the pre-sale. We apologize to our

overseas members!

Two (2) tickets per member only. No single tickets. Ten Club tickets

for the EV tour will NOT be seniority based. Tickets will be held in

priority locations, but seat allocation will be chosen at random. The base

ticket price for all shows is $65 per ticket, plus additional venue and

handling fees. Tickets for the pre-sale will be sold only on

http://www.tenclub.net/goods/ with a Visa or Mastercard. No phone or

mail orders.

Tickets will be distributed at will call on the evening of the

performance. Only the Ten Club member who purchased the tickets will be allowed

to collect the tickets. No exceptions.

Tickets are non-refundable. No exchanges or transfers will be allowed.

Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in revocation of all future

Ten Club ticket benefits.

All dates are subject to change.

New Zealand singer-songwriter Liam Finn will open these shows.

introduce new DNA evidence proving they could not have committed the

crimes for which they were convicted. More info at: www.wm3.org

rumors on the pj board are that they will definitely playing multiple shows throughout the summer. A guy who "talked to Mike" said they're confirmed for Austin City Limits. Obviously just rumors, but I wanted to post so people don't go out of their way to buy bonarroo tix on the first day and they some more PJ shows get announced close to home. Chances are you can pick up bonaroo tix on the day of the show anyway
Yeah, I'd much rather hit ACL than Bonnaroo, having never been to Austin...I think I am going to wait and see what else comes up...Would love a NYC show
How about letting those of us who live in heavily populated states Pearl Jam hasn't visited in 3 1/2 years get a show first, you selfish *******. ;)

Hey, I cast a write-in vote for Buff Bagwell, so don't blame me.

Sweet! I'll catch 4 of these shows...maybe even Van-City as well.

I have it on good account that the band has reserved dates at venues before and after Bonnaroo, by the way. You will get yours.

You are in LA, right?I am seriously considering flying out for that weekend if I am able to score tix via 10C...Let me ask you, I don't drive...Is it possible to get around (i.e. from LAX to a hotel, from a hotel to the venue) without a car?

It actually is, to some degree.Wiltern is a great venue by the way -- one of my favorites. A classic, old theater with great acoustics. It really is one of those places where all the seats are good. I actually love the balcony seating. They tore some seats out and most of the lower area is now a tiered, standing-room only place (which I don't like too much). If you're there early however, as I'm sure you will be, you can get up real close with GA. If you're tall, even better. He's played there a lot.I have at least two friends that are already coming from out-of-state so my pad is gonna be crowded. You come out, and I'll help you out with stuff for sure.

You have to say where now!
I don't know and I wasn't even supposed to say that. I will try though.
You need to keep your contacts in tact, so don't do anything to ruin that.
Yeah, no worries. I would/will p-mail you.

:rolleyes:Cool man, thanks...My biggest concern was just mobility...I've never been to LA, and I know it's 99% driving, so just as long as I can use public trasportation to a hotel from the airport and get to the venue, I'm good to go..I doubt I'll get tix, as I am sure those will be the most popular shows, but if I do, seems like too good an option considering it's a weekend, to pass up

Actually, looking at my schedule, I may be best off trying for the Santa Barbara show...

I will be in Miami for work thru the 9th, so I can get the company to fly me from Miami to Santa Barbara, save 1/2 the fare...

Does crashing and relaxing in Satan Barbara for a couple of nights sound like something I might enjoy?

I will be coming off of working for a month straight (no days off at all) and will be looking for some decompression time...

Santa Barbara is great. I'll be crashing at an old college friend's pad. Rooftop deck in downtown. I don't see why you can't flop.If you go to LA, Manhattan Beach is where I'd suggest. Great beach town, great bars/restaurants and it's close to the airport. And contrary to popular belief there is public transportation nearby, although you'd just as soon go with us (we'll probably meet-up in Manhattan anyway). I would go to both shows if I were you, it's on a weekend.

Yeah, I just think demand for thse LA shows will be so high that tix will be a crapshoot...If I could get tix to the Santa Barbara show and both LA shows, I would likely just stay out there Wed to Sun

ETA: There is a better than average chance that I forget about it Monday (have the day off and am going out Sunday night) and miss the 10C ticket sale as I sleep off the liver damage from the previous night

Tix are back up and site is working

My account got harged the 1st time but no tix in my profile, so I had to buy again...

Hopefully refunding the first charge won't be that big a pain

Nice man! That ordering process was crazy. I had the same thing happen where I bought and then it had an error and the tickets didn't show in my profile. Yet somehow my card was charged. Tried again and was able to score tickets to both L.A. shows. I'm pumped! I agree though hopefully it won't be too big of a pain to get the other charges removed. Congrats.

I'm going to the second L.A. show. Getting those tickets was one of the more frustrating things I've ever done. I actually wanted the 1st L.A. show, but it was "temporarily out of stock" the entire time. And, when I initially did get the first L.A. show into my cart (four times), the site would crash and I lost the seats.

I'm just glad I got seats to the second show, at least.

Anybody have any luck? I got skunked. Couldn't even get in on the added shows. I had a pair in orchestra for SD and got an error when I went to purchase -- that SUCKED.

So who's going to what?

In case anyone hasn't scheduled a flight yet and would be flying Delta, pm me. I have delta dollars I need to get rid of and will sell them for 80 cents on the dollar.....should pay for your ticket give or take this way

Awesome to watchUse your delta bucks to fly to Santa Barbara and party with me and SLBD and see Eddie

I have an extra tix
there's a small chance i might actually be able to swing that....but i won't know for another two weeks.
That's cool...Let me know...

In no hurry to get rid of the tix, doubt I'll have trouble, even if it is outside the theater beforehand...

If you want it, it's yours...

Not really a PJ update, but I was watching Say Anything (Cameron Crowe movie) last night and I realized that Crown of Thorns was playing early in the movie. It didn't make the soundtrack, but obviously it made the Singles soundtrack which was Crowe's next movie.

Where did you get this copy and what is the format?
Assuming you're referring to the mp3.....i've had it for years, not sure what the original format is.
Haven't looked for it as an mp3, but would love to have it. I remember seeing an auction for a raw video from the shoot that had the whole thing instead of the 4 songs shown on MTV. It had the time on the screen and everything. Thought that would have been cool to have.
