It's downloading now. There's A LOT of #### on there. Is it all the boots from this tour?I can't wait to hear the Camden shows and MSGs...I wonder how they'll mix the crowd noise on the MSG bootsIt really was overwhelming at timesThat's the first two showsTwo week delay this yearBonnaroo tomorrow hopefully..
From everything I have read, they were really close to breaking up after Roskilde...It affects them to this dayGB those 9 "friends we'll never know"Let's keep a little light on...We just gotta calm things down just a little bit up front here...You guys gotta work with each other, there's too much swaying going on...And I don't know what else to say...What I can say is if someone was hurt to the point where they didn't live after tonight, I don't think we'd ever play again...Some bands continue on, I wouldn't be able to do it...Music ain't that important...So you guys really have to work together...I don't want this to be the last night
Same thing happened during Tremor Christ in New Orleans in 09/953 Days away from the 8th anniversary of Roskilde, I happened to be listening to the boot of the 9/29/96 show from Randall's Island and was struck by one of the moments...
After Tremor Christ Eddie addresses the crowd and tells them they have to calm down in the pit because it's getting a bit nuts
He says:

Hard to believe it is that long ago. That's one reason I always dig LBC...what other band would write a memorial song to their fallen fans? Never got why this tune sometimes doesn't get much love, but its always moving to me.Hell yeah! I hope some of the crowd is in there....I ordered it today on CD....it'll be a pleasant surprise to find this in my mailbox in about a month. And I got a damn poster....what a nightmare that whole thing was. Anyone score Beacon tickets?I can't wait to hear the Camden shows and MSGs...I wonder how they'll mix the crowd noise on the MSG bootsIt really was overwhelming at timesThat's the first two showsTwo week delay this yearBonnaroo tomorrow hopefully..

Dude posted a pair on the Pit. Guess they were $350 seats, because he wanted $800 total ($100 donation + 2 seats). May still be available, but I have too much coming up to swing it...very bummed about that though. Hoping for the miracle $250 seat with no strings attachedHell yeah! Jeebus the pster hsit was ridiculous...I had pretty much resigned myself to not getting one, as I was meeting people for drinks beforehand both nights...BBWC headed over to the show Tuesday night about 6:45 or so, and I thoughtthere might be a possibility they were not yet sold out, but they of course were...And then on Wed I got to the Garden at 4:30 to pick up my tickets and there were about 500 people already waiting in a line to get a wristband hich would allow them to get a wristband which would allow them to get a poster####### ridiculousI'll get one on eBay at some point if I need toBut 99% of the posters I do have arn't framed yet anyway, so it's no huge loss for me(TF, I put the posters in the mail Wed night)And yeah, I know I'm going to the Beacon, and I;m pretty sure SLBD is alsoAnd this time I took Wed off...Going to work after MSG I was one of the most painful mornings of my lifeGDB 1 AM Irish Car Bombs at Tir Na Nog when you have t get home to Queens and back to work in 7 hoursHell yeah! How did you get Beacon tickets? That's fantastic....I called in sick yesterday after the MSGII show. I was hurting and haven't taken any sick days this year....so I got to sleep it all off. Yeah, the whole poster thing is f'ed up. I actually had an extra wristband....I was in that mob of people....damn shame, could have handed it off to you. I was lucky...Happened to be surfing the PJ boards the day when someone posted that they were on sale...Spent a day calling until I got through...Very psyched...I've ALWAYS wanted to see pJ at the Beacon, which is probably my favorite NY venue (not counting the Garden)Plus it is for charity, and I figure I'll get at least $50 back in the open bar (who am I kidding? $100)How did you get Beacon tickets? Love that your name on that board is Tremendous Upside......good luck with that.Edited to Add:If you had an extra to the Beacon I'd be your chauffeur all weekend! haha.Had given up on Boston tomorrow b/c my friend who was driving backed out, but a guy on the Pit just posted an extra 10C ticket #70,XXX, so if he responds, I'll get up there any way I can:fingerscrossed:Someone else replied first
You're right!Dude just got back to meYeah TU, I will be at the Beacon as well. Looking for a ticket tomorrow still but that will be easy. I'm actually trying to find a GOOD ticket. If worse comes to worse, I will get a lawner and move down. I/we could even have Canada Mike stub us down no problem. You're going, by the way.
Now I just have to figure out travel details
Yeah I jammed to this one last night driving home. It was a House of Blues show after Riot Act came out, so guessing 2003.If you know the show I'm talking about, listen to the Habit.....wow what an amazing version, they were fired up for sure. Made me really want to hear that song in person again, haven't since Barrie '98.Great song3 Days away from the 8th anniversary of Roskilde, I happened to be listening to the boot of the 9/29/96 show from Randall's Island and was struck by one of the moments...

They continued on, until, before Animal, Eddie said something like this "We've got a problem, down front here. You guys gotta settle down in here..." And he continued on, Animal began. Right before the outro, Eddie just stops the music to yell at the crowd..."You guys got an Fin' mosh-pit down here. I know there's a looney bin around here, (pointing behind the stage to the right where the crowd could see the mental hospital) is that where you guys came from?" After screaming at the moshers some more, he settled down a little bit. "You know, it's like an ocean of people, and there's waves, and there's undertows and sometimes, when you get pulled under, it's hard to get up. (Talking to a 15 year old, getting crushed) C'mon little darlin' you don't belong in there, if you want out we'll find a place for you on the side (of the stage....lucky girl). You know...if there was someone, who...didn't... live after tonight...we'd never play a live show again. Other bands could do it, but I couldn't. Could everyone just pull back a few steps...we need to relieve some space here. (and mindlessly, as every dedicated fan would, we pulled back) I know that there's not a lot of room back there either, but, we need all the space we can get up here. (Talking to another young lady) Come on out sweetheart this security guard will find a place for you on the side...OK? Are we good here? OK, I want everyone who's standing to make sure that there's nobody under them." Then, almost humorously, the song picked up right where it left off.

I'll never be that lucky.Check this out, I just had a ticket on TM in the 2nd section, dead center, 2nd row. I put all the info in, then balked for minute, and when I hit purchase, got purged. So I go back. And low and behold, I got one in Section 1. Sweet! They are releasing tickets here and there today, that's for sure.

Thanks!Well that's a bummer, I bought the MSGII show on cd....waiting on it still....now I'm not that excited to get it. TU have a great time at the show tonight....and anyone else that is going....The Bonnaroo boot is now delayed two more weeks. That tells me they are having a political issue with the Bonnaroo people and selling this show. That pretty solid audience recording may well be all we get.On the subject of the boots... these things sound worse than the 06 boots and they take 13 days longer to make. The levels are effed up on all of them, and on the Columbia one, they cut Better Man in half! Whoever they gave this job to sucks my huevos.Honestly if I listened to these boots and had never seen Pearl Jam, I would say these guys kinda sound like crap live. Every time I hear Jeff singing twice as loud as Ed, I think, I can't believe they released this #### to the public..I am glad I didn't buy any of these; I had planned to buy both Camdens.
Thought I had a line on a ticket, but the guy kept yankin' my chain about what he wanted for it. Makes me think he didn't have squat. While for a good cause, guess I can use the $250 or more it would have cost (plus transportation). Will have to live this one through TU and the boards...Well that's a bummer, I bought the MSGII show on cd....waiting on it still....now I'm not that excited to get it. You da' man, Zilla! Keep 'em coming! Really liking these two sets so far!!Anything new beyond what has been floated in the past? Heard his wife/girlfriend/whatever is preggers again, so curious how that impacts him being on the road, being the sensitive soul that he isLooks like a crazy good set again tonight....Undone...![]()
Not sure my bank account can keep up with the rumored EV solo East Coast tour coming up....![]()
ETA: Let's hope NYC is not far behind...That is what I was referring to....supposedly a pretty legit source and along with several other rumors I've heard...where there's smoke, there's fire, imo....too much PJ/EV love on the East Coast for him not to do a mini swing....Anything new beyond what has been floated in the past?
