Crowd seemed awesome. 3rd set started out a little uninspired and overall was not what I was expecting as far as selection, but they finished each set insanely strong. What do you think TF? Highlights from my streaming were defintely:

My Friend, My Friend, Kill Devil Falls > Cavern > David Bowie

Mike's Song > Theme From the Bottom > Weekapaug Groove

Piper was outstanding...streamers were pissed because they gave up on Waves but halfway through Piper that didn't matter anymore.

Light > Harry Hood

It was a very cool experience.

I was kicking myself for not buying a lawn ticket on ticketmaster earlier in the week...I honestly didn't think it would sell out...and they could have easily put 5-10k more people on that lawn. Anyway, I digress....hopped on the bus around 4:30 at the hotel and head over to the venue with my 12 pack. There were tons of people looking for tickets....and nobody was selling at all. At least at Pearl Jam people were selling ($500 for upper deck - ha). I set my ceiling at $150 for the lawn, I figured I'd get in after the show started. Some guy told me that he and a friend bought one for $80 and directed me to where that was, so I took a walk. The only ticket I saw for sale before the show was a guy literally holding an auction in the parking lot in front of 5 people for a floor ticket. It went for $200...oh well. Once the show started, there were still a bunch of folks walking around looking, so I go to hit the bathroom. I'm chatting it up with a guy in line...he has a ticket, but is looking for one for his lady friend. I tell him it's my first show, from new orleans, just want to get in...."I'm willing to pay $100 for a lawn ticket, I just want to see the show."

He looked at me like I had just given his kid a free scholarship to Harvard (yea hippies!) "Let me go talk to my girl". A few minutes later, I give him my $ and the rest of my beers and head in.

It was nuts...fully appreciate everyone who ever said "you won't get it until you go to a show". I have my 18 Pearl Jam shows to compare it to...and I decided on this...at a typical PJ show, about 50% of the fans are die hards....walking around last night, it seemed like 95% of the fans there were die hards. Maybe it's a tad of an anomaly, but still it was a great site. Even though I didn't know all the songs or the "protocol", it was phenomenal music.

Not sure why they never come to new orleans, it seems like the folks here would love their music...but maybe we get spoiled with so much good music anyway

Either way, had a blast and will see them again :headbang:

Been reliving a lot of the shows I attended back in the 90s at the tracks website...good stuff.

Oh, to be in my 20s again for just a week or two.

What is this website? I've still not come across recordings of Ziggy's from Spring '92 and the Santa Fe show in '93. Those are the only biggies I saw that I was never able to find. I'm pretty sure neither were recorded.

Ha. God bless the internet. Thanks man.

I've listened to every set this year, and tonight's 2nd Set is in a league of it's own. Pure fire.
That DWD > Light > Sally > 2001 looks insane. Looking forward to that. But shoot, was hoping for Sally on Tuesday night.

I think there's a good chance for PYITE and maybe YEM.
the Undermind between DWD and Light may have been the highlight of the entire show.

Undecided undefined, undisturbed, yet...

Yes it was pretty sweet...although I fell asleep right before Fluffhead I think. Fishman stood out to me last night.

I also liked 1st Set Chicago 3 alot, and that show in general really, although I was tuned out a bit during Harpua and I have not read great things. My stream was dropping that night a bit, I think everyone's was.

Yeah overlooked the Undermind looking at the setlist.

Bought both Gorge shows. Immediately played the light sally 2001. Worth the $20 right there.

weekapaug encore at Tahoe?! OK, who was there? looks like yet another smokin' set 2.

still looking for extras for the SF shows. i'll be the one outside with my finger high in the air and cash in hand...

My audio only stream kinda stunk so I bowed out after set 1. Dang that set 2 looks hot.

Tommy, did you have a good stream last night?

I had to work late last night (got home from the office at 1am) so I didn't hear any of last nights show.

You can stream it free from here later today once they'v uploaded it.
