I can't believe funchess is consistently going ahead of DGB. That's just craziness. Happened yet day in my rookie draft as well. DGB fell to me at 2.08!!

2.08 seems like a steal but you have to significantly knock DGB for off the field risk or you're not valuing him correctly.

Didn't have much faith in this receiver class outside of Cooper, and to a lesser extent White and Parker. After that group, I generally like the RBs better at the spots they were being projected than the project WRs.

PPR League Starts: 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 TE, 3 Flex

Drafted Yeldon at 10 and Coleman at 12, passing on DGB and Perriman twice each.

Drafted Ajayi at 27. Was hoping for Lockett (all return yards 0.1 point) or David Johnson here, but neither made it that far and nobody was trading picks.

Matt Jones at 35. Only player left on the board who might have been a better pick was Langford.

Pretty pleased with that overall, based on early returns. Yeldon looked pretty good and has a lot of future upside in that offense. I think Coleman has a good chance of taking early down work, but I'm disappointed he didn't have a better showing in the receiving game. Hopefully that improves down the road. Ajayi showed well and has a chance to be the starter next season. Jones has some upside and Morris could be on the way out.

Time will tell on DGB, but I don't think I'm going to miss owning Perriman anytime soon. Can't beat myself up taking Jones over Langford in the 4th. Missing out on Lockett and Johnson will probably end up being my biggest regret. I had them rated at #14 and #18, respectively, on my big board. They went at #11 and #25.

 
The greatest value targets for me were:

Cooper (anywhere)

Parker (5 or later)

Agholor (9 or later)

Coleman (9 or later)

Maxx Williams (2nd round)

Mixed results at best after year one. Agholor I assumed would be a WR4-5 immediately with weekly upside in the Chip offense. Coleman had a chance to immediately be the lead back in a highly productive offense, albeit with a below average O-line. And Maxx was supposed to be a TE2, luckily I was rarely (if ever?) forced to start him.

Cooper and Parker I feel pretty good about.

 
Took over a team that was run into the ground. He had traded away all his early picks for lord knows what at least I couldn't find it on the roster. Anyway my first pick was in the 4th Artis-Payne and I picked up Diggs, JJ Nelson, Marcus Peters and Malcolm Brown in the 5th-7th so I'm not to disappointed. Just looking forward to being able to have a full draft next year.

That is awesome imjackdupp. Not only to take over a flailing franchise without any top picks but to get that sort of value later.

How would everyone rate the top 12-16 of the 2015 draft class today knowing what you do today?

This makes for a very interesting 2nd round, especially with IDP (I'd include Kwon Alexander #10 here).

Maxx Williams doesn't worry me, rookie TE's frequently need time to develop and he's just a +3 guy. Abdullah was hard to omit. I'd like to include Perriman and White, but the performances I saw give me more confidence than the talent I project. I was never sold on Gordon, had him #10 originally.

Ok how many of you shied away from 100% showing your cards (rankings, analysis, etc) in the preseason because of upcoming drafts?

I did, but it's far enough past that I feel more comfortable talking about it.

DGB, the off-the-field concerns aren't what makes hiim extremely risky. It's that his tape was terrible (as in, looks extremely awkward running any route) and he hadn't played in a very long time due to the suspension and changing schools. His high draft position made me reevaluate somewhat but didn't sway my opinion too much.

Kevin White, I thought his tape was slightly overrated. That combined with his age-adjusted production made me prefer Parker over him.

Funchess, never moved like an NFL athlete to me and was basically off my board entirely.

Cooper, I had him valued as a top 10 dynasty asset after the Raiders took him #4. Overpaid in several dynasties for him.
