#### them......they get what they deserve.......and #### the liberal clowns that voted Harambi, Jill Stein, Bernie Sanders...they get what they deserve.....#### the college kids and "utes" of America that are out protesting and pushing for safe spaces....yet didn't want to put the I-Phones down that their parents paid for long enough to go and vote....they get what they deserve.

It's going to be an interesting 4 years....but I don't want to hear any of them #####ing.

Unfortunately hearing them all crying nonstop appears to be part of the deal. 

 
ROFL...Old Bag Clinton lost more than she gained....I think this is so funny, she lost 7 voters, 1 in Maine that wanted to vote for Sanders, and couldn’t; 1 in Mass; 1 in Minnesota and they had to be replaced to vote for Old Bag Clinton, and then Colin Powell got 3 votes in Washington with Faith Spotted Eagle with 1 vote...so The Old Bag Clinton lost more than she had...

And she wonders why people are not ‘flocking’ to her side, from what we heard: ‘she smells like urine and farts and when was the last time she bathed’...maybe that’s why she’s out in the woods, but she best be careful, bears love those smells!!!

Seems a little hypocritical of folks who have been complaining that the Left has ignored their voices for years, told them not to say "un-PC" things, and otherwise feel like they'd been forced to shut up...now that their side wins, they're more than ready to tell each and every group they look down on that they need to shut up and be quiet.

Hypocrisy is strong at this time, but it won't matter to folks who do this kind of stuff because they're not interested in fair...never were.  They've only ever wanted their way.

Silencing opposing voices is wrong whenever liberals do it and it's wrong now when conservatives are doing it.  Folks with differing points of view have a right to be heard, and just because you disagree with them doesn't mean their points of view are worthless.

Just leads to further polarization.

The more I read stuff like this the more I think the election wasn't driven by anger on the right but apathy on the left.

It's not about being a worthless opinion. It's about complaining if you didn't vote....or you thought it was poignant to vote for someone other than the two candidates from the two major parties.

I don't think we need to wait to see how his appointments perform when those appointments have long histories of antagonism against the very departments they are slated to take over. There's good reason to raise an eyebrow and express some concern.

This just tightens the screws on Trump, and completely negates the long held notion that ACA is unpopular. If he tries to repeal it now complete chaos will ensue.

This is pretty ridiculous. This assumption has just been proven wrong. It was supposed to be too politically costly to threaten changing the ACA, not so. Quite the opposite.

If I can use a movie analogy......

Hillary Clinton = Jerry McGuire

Donald Trump = Bob Sugar

The Socially Liberal/LGBT/Youth/(for lack of better word)People of Color = Rod Tidwell

The Rust Belt/Traditionally Democratic/(In their Eyes) Struggling White Middle Aged/Middle Class Americans = The Cush and his "Word is as Strong as Oak", Father, Matt Cushman.

HRC and the DNC walked thru the lobby too much with Rod Tidwell, didn't pay enough attention to the Cushmans and were too confident in "bonds and partnerships" from the past (unions/blue collar pensioners and Rust Belt White Democrats) that they didn't realize Donald Sugar coopted their message and stole their prized pig.  

To carry it outside the movie.....Rod Tidwell, despite yelling about "SHOWING ME THE MONEY"....was too busy hanging out with his brother Tee-Pee Tidwell to actually show up for training camp and decided to sit the year out. Hillary McGuire thus ended up #### out of luck.  

That's the essence of this election.

People are signing up because they are forced to sign up. Once Trump repeals it, these people will go back to whatever they had before. Some people will go back to the high deductible "catastrophic" plans that they preferred, other people will go back to employer plans, and others will go back to having no coverage at all. There will be no chaos, there will be no revolt.

I don't disagree. In fact I think it may be the single most important reason Trump won. 

But while the public wants their rates made lower, they don't want to get rid of the no pre-existing conditions. Like always, they want to have their cake and eat it too, and they voted for a guy who promised them he could make that happen. Now what happens when he can't deliver? (He can't.)

There is nothing wrong with wanting lower premiums and having no pre-ex conditions. That would benefit everyone.

Price as head of HHS is a serious signal they're going to do something. This is one Department that will be GOP-ready. I'm sure they could pass a HC law if they want. The political penalty comes if 1. rates keep rising or 2. The insurance companies take huge losses as a result.

 
Here's really the no. 1 thing with the ACA, its replacement and almost any major political legislation.

Just be honest with people. Voters react very negatively when they are told one thing and they get another.

I think we're overestimating the downside on changing ACA.  There's a ton of Trump voters who paid less for better insurance under Obamacare but are still upset because the choice was taken away from them.  This government that has ignored them for a generation is now forcing them what to do for health care.  It doesn't matter that it's a better net result for their families or the economy as a whole - they hate it because it's a government mandated intrusion.  

Just want to prepare you for when Ryan rips Obamacare to shreds, consumers pay more, insurance and drug companies reap all kinds of benefits, and there's no backlash from voters.

The real secret is that ACA actually affects a relatively small percentage of Americans one way or the other.

The vast majority of the county that is covered either through their employer or from the gov't already has had fairly minor changes at the margin. Framing the issue is important. While ACA was law I think there was generally more focus on the cost of private coverage, often not taking into account the premium off-set, and not as much on 22 million people who gained coverage and lives literally saved. I think the pendulum is going to swing back the other way with serious repeal discussions. More reporting on people losing coverage and we'll probably end up back closer to where public sentiment was in 2008. 

Universal coverage is going to happen at some point, it's just a question of when.
