Reading the last couple of pages, there's still so much anger from what appear to be his supporters, even though he won. I'm beginning to think if he lost it would have actually been scary, projecting the level of hatred now being exhibited even though he won. The #### you guys want already?

Oh, and no one group owns monopoly on love of country, national security, and pride in law enforcement. We all do. Check that nonsense at the door.

How quickly they bent over and took a high hard one after the McCain comments, nothing any of them say about love of country should be taken seriously again. It runs as deep as a bumper sticker. Period.

Wait, "unpresidented" actually happened?

We are so ####ed.
Yes it happened.

Consider it a Freudian slip .
Freudian slip and a classic example of Trump Projection, where he projects his subconscious opinion of himself (unpresidential) onto other people/places/things.

Also, on a purely intellectual level, it's somewhat disturbing that an educated, successful adult could go 70 years without realizing that "precedent" and "president" are two different words with two entirely different meanings.

Message to Dems: The world is "literally" laughing at you.

You Rigged the primaries and BARELY beat an old socialist.

You took all that foreign money to buy the election in return for a pipeline.

You censored information to the public.

You rigged the debates.

You ran against a rookie in the general that seemingly couldn't get out of his own way most of the time.

You resorted to violence to intimidate voters.

You sued to overturn voter ID laws.

You campaigned on tax payer money.

You tried to hack the voter rolls multiple times.

You colluded with ALL of the "news" networks.

You had major cities with more votes than voters.

You made voter rolls "disappear."

Then, you got curb stomped on election day.

You protested the results.

You demanded recounts and sued to get them.

Your margin of loss WIDENED as a result of recount.

You got ##### slapped by the same Federal judges YOU appointed.

You've resorted to threatening the lives of the electors if they don't change their vote.

And despite all this you STILL lost.

That sound you hear, it's the WORLD laughing at you. We're "literally" rolling on the floor laughing at you and you're too arrogant to know why.
I have trouble understanding how someone can post something like this and not be embarrassed.

Funny you bring this up since it's liberals that  riot, loot and beat the crap out of innocent people when they don't get their way.   This fake #### you're making up about Trump supporters is a bunch of hooey.

This one still hurts over the election loss.  My sympathy goes out to you - get well soon.

From republicans point of view, democrats behaved irrationally with how they treated Bush, and with how they passed Obamacare by using reconciliation and justifying it with "elections have consequences".  I think EVERYONE knew that if the republicans ever got the white house and congress, the payback would be enormous.  They are going to full court press their conservative agenda and shut the democrats out of everything.  The democrats should have thought about that when passing Obamacare the way they did.  But its too late now.
Re: the bolded, I'm not sure that Trump is on board with a conservative agenda (other than tax cuts).

Morons do that IMO.

Guys still seem pretty angry considering "their guy"* just won, no? Just pointing out the obvious.

*(Trump's not really their guy. Trump is Trump's guy)

This is so awesome how Democrats are all concerned about security now.
Obama says the Chinese hackers have beeen stealing our technologies and trade secrets for years, but it's different when the Russians started influencing the outcome of elections.

Yeah, it is beyond the pale when people started leaking "not very interesting emails that did not have any explosive information in them".

Hmm...I wonder who the guy that shot up Comet Ping Pong voted for.

Nice try, but let's not pretend these are just any old "morons" - they are consistently liberals or liberal groups.  That is not even debatable.

I agree, it's weird and disturbing from the new leader of the free world. Odd as hell.

But really this spotlights the 1% of idiots, whereas 99% of people across the spectrum have accepted the results and want the best for the country going forward. Progress is progress, and now that one party is largely in charge hopefully we, the nation, can get things going again.

Counter-productive to that end are 2 perspectives:

  1. Focusing on what the dems, the libs, or whatever label thing we're still doing, which fuels the "us vs. them" mentality
  2. Trump can do no wrong with his decisions, and either you're 100% in on Trump or else, so to speak.
Count me in the group that didn't vote for him, voted for her based on platform but didn't particularly like her, and wants the best for the country going forward. As someone who supports the rights of those who come in lesser numbers, I'm going to be skeptical when a majority-rules mentality would lead to harm for individual rights, so I'm skeptical of Trump because I think he plays people. There's a decent segment that voted for him with legitimate economic concerns, which he addressed with scapegoats (Mexicans and Muslims) and infeasible solutions (mass deportations, returning of coal and manufacturing jobs). It was irresponsible of him, and I don't think he will pursue policies that support that voter segment, by and large, particularly the ones over 60 years old.

I find this interesting given this.

No one expects a wall....just a country that watches and secured the border for the 1sttime in 8 years.
Walls?  If a mexican immgrant makes an assassination attempt on Trump, there will be a war between the US and Mexico.  We'll be lucky if there is ONLY a wall.  We might have the 3rd division bivouacked in downtown LA.

Worst case scenario is we wind up in a war with Mexico.  The defiance of civic leaders throughout California causes Trump to move the Army into those cities to run them.  Europe decides to support Mexico.  Trump uses THAT as an opportunity to formally sever ties with Europe and permanently bind ties with Russia.

In 4 years, you wind up with a drastically altered United States.  We sit here in the forum deciding what news sources are trustworthy and don't see the tidal wave coming.  I hope none of this happens but I can see the potential.  The inability of the democrats to work with Trump is leaving this door wide open.  If they could work with him and negotiate, none of this may transpire but I don't see it.

So a war with Mexico, China, ISIS and Major cities and American citizens. Replacing our Nato alliance. Tearing up all trade deals. MAGA.
