So long as some conservatives believe that the New York Times is the equivalent of Breitbart, Drudge or DailyKos, it will be extremely difficult for the rest of us to have any kind of constructive conversation. If you're unwilling to defend what Trump tweeted, then the least you could do is come up with an example of Obama or Clinton or another Democrat president doing something similar. yeah if I was in your position I would say that too.  After spending 18 months defending Hillary and acting like all this stuff is not important, it is pretty ridiculous to now want to reset so you can  now pretend to be outraged.

As one of the very few Hillary supporters on this site, I can assure you that I don't care about very much of what you listed, and you won't find me complaining too much about any of it. 

I do think the Russian thing is important, and that it warrants an investigation. I don't believe we'll find anything that discredits Trump or the validity of his election win, but I want to know how much Putin was involved in this stuff.
