Naitch comes out to celebrate with Charlotte after she wins the Smackdown Women's Title!!
It got dusty for a minute. My wife got sucked in too. Wish they could get the raw belt on asuka. Bliss-flair should be good, but Asuka-flair could be great.

You may have already been corrected on this.  I haven't read below.  But actually Hogan won the monster truck match.  They got out of the truck and Hogan wound up shoving the Giant himself off the roof.  And then 5 minutes later in the show the Giant ("you should be dead, dude, I just slammed you off the roof, brother!" - thing Hogan never said, but probably thought) returned, no-selling the highest bump ever, to have the actual match against Hogan.  The match ended with a cluster... with Macho, Luger and the friggin' Yeti all making appearances.  And the Giant won by DQ.  And later the DQ would get waived and the Giant would be your new WCW champion via this win.  By the way, this was the Giant's first match if I recall.  Or maybe just his first match against Hogan or something along those lines.

I loved the Flair/Sting thing though. As stupid as I thought at the time that Sting always gets fooled by Flair, it never got old somehow.
Thanks.  my wrestling memory (and pretty much all of the rest of it too) gets fuzzier every day.

*shrug*  Talented wrestler but they need to turn him or something.  They are doing no favors for him now
Yeah he's very talented but if they continue down this road he'll be gone before you can say Maven.

They either need to advance the "son" angle.....or just drop it.  The reveal came 4 months ago....they've done zero to add to it since.

Shame they just dumped America Alpha so quickly just for this. Thought they were the team to build a division around.

While I agree, however, the Uso's & The Bar have been very capable leading the respective divisions.

The "son" "angle" lol has been terrible.  Best hope for him is if he factors into a screw job in the 5 man match somehow, turning on Kurt, align with HHH?

I know some have been bagging on the storylines or lack there of, but I'll tell you this.  In my mind, this has been some of the best PPV story building they've done in the lead up to SS.  #under siege has given both sides some meat to work with and added some good skin to the game.  On paper, WWE has built a really good looking show.  I'm marking out and fully expect to be sports entertained.

I don't think it can happen, but man if somehow D Bryan has been secretly cleared by WWE and he's gonna be a last minute replacement for an "injured" Shane O'Mac... man can you imagine the pop for that?!

Sami's flip with Kevin has been great.  My son and I were talking about it.  He's 9, so he's pretty much a straight baby face supporter and doesn't like that I pretty much toe the heel party line in terms of who I root for, but Sami didn't even really change his persona much.  All he's done is add some subtle tweaks to his mannerisms to be a bit more annoying, and I think it just shines a light on how high level his understanding is of the "business."

Man, does Kurt Angle look bad.  It's just sad to see him out there that way, unable to stand straight, basically needing to turn his whole body in order to look in another direction.  The rumors are that this HHH business with Jason Jordan is a lead up to an Angle/HHH match at WM, but I look at Kurt and just wonder how in the world he'll be able to pull off a singles match??

Love me some Usos!  I assume their promos are just as scripted as any other wrestler but their ability to deliver them as naturally and effortlessly as they do is so old school

Edit: especially when you compare them to uncle Roman... (uncle, or cousin?  I forget lol)

Ellsworth future endeavored. Pretty good run for him. Being chained to Carmella not too bad as far as gimmicks go.
I couldn't stand the guy.  Every few years WWE brings up some fool as a gimmick character to have tag along with someone else.  It's annoying and takes away from a bunch of other angles.  Ellsworth was funny as the one time squash guy for Stroman - but thats where it should have ended.  How he stuck around for a year is beyond me.  Glad he's gone.

If only Amore could be next...

Agree to disagree here. I loved his time with the mothership.

I assume you also enjoyed Gilbert and Hornswoggle as well?  Ugh....plenty other talent can bring the comedy to the show. We don't need the sideshow gags anymore. They disrupt the flow and take time away from others. I'd rather see Heath Slater begging for matches to feed his kids rather than a guy like Elsworth get manhandled by the women. That's disparaging to the entire women's division who are fantastic talents in their own right.

I didn't watch when those two were around. Ellsworth was both good in the ring and on the mic though imo.

Survivor Series sucked.  Nothing really mattered.  Champion vs. Champion matches weren't really interesting and the build sucked.

We getting HHH vs. Angle for months? or HHH vs. Braun?

There's a video floating around of HHH walking into the back but he runs into the titantron and falls down.  Might have been the most entertaining part.

SS with the brand split needs to be treated as a one-off celebration without the storyline advancement. Too many moving parts.
The Shane/HHH storylines detracted from Cena return and the Balor/Nakamura/Joe/Roode dynamic.
Those 4 guys had epic NXT performances and were basically an afterthought.

Also, it's impressive to see Roode squaring off with HHH. It really shows what HGH does to someone's face. Roode looks like as normal as a really in-shape guy can look. HHH appears to have a nose that grew three sizes that day. He looks like Bonds at the end of his career, when his head no longer resembled that of human.

Was thinking about buying my son tix to the Holiday Tour in MSG on Dec 26 but the tix are around $100 for 200 level. Is it worth it? Will we see anything? The lineup is pretty good. Cena vs Reigns, Strowman vs Kane, Rollins & Ambrose vs Sheamus & Cesaro in a steel cage match, plus other matches.

MSG shows are always legit even if it's a house show.  You likely won't see a title change but if they do it in any arena it's usually MSG.   I'd go if you can, the talent seems to really put on a show whenever they are in that venue.

This War Games match is total carnage
Finally got around to watching the show.  The card was great, even though I wasn't familiar with most of the talent or storylines.  I was psyched to see a new War Games match.  It was a good match, but I was disappointed that they altered the rules so much it didn't feel like a true War Games match.  The rules were closer to the 1998 version of War Games, which also had 3 teams of 3.  I hear the ratings for the show have been pretty great, so I'm hoping Vince will see that people are interested in seeing this type of match when it makes sense.  I just hope they go back to a 2 team concept, with the participants trickling in and use the Match Beyond: Submission or Surrender finish instead of a pinfall when done again.  Again, very good and entertaining match though.

This is a nice recap of the last couple of years. Broken Matt Hardy will get extremely over as a good deal of WWE fans also follow other promotions.
If they give him full creative control over it like previously I'd agree.

If not, he's Bray 2.0 and likely off the roster before 2018 ends.
