Because of the weird Face turn on Fri. and the intensity of that match.....for a split second, I acutally thought they might have moved the timeline up on Cena's retirement and this was his last match. That being said....wow.

No Rock but Brock. Going to be interesting but have to wonder who is going to come after Cody assuming Brock vs Cena?

Night 2 was solid but two very forgettable matches. The cage match was bad. Very disappointed. The other clinker was Dom vs. Styles. I don’t think they know what to do with Styles and Dom lost momentum w the doctors note tripe.

Becky vs Valkeria was good but too long and didn’t need the Bayley interference unless it meant a heel turn and alignment with The Man. Match lacked the big moment but they worked hard to try to get there. This needed a less is more vibe and probably suffered more from having to follow the insane TLC match. Valky is an excellent worker and like Perez, she has a promising future.

Everything else was awesome. Better than Wrestlemania.

Brock ages well. Just looks scarier each time.
Particularly to female TKO employees. I loved Brock as a monster in the ring, but I don't see how they bring him back now unless they are 100% confident he is innocent of the charges. I read where WWE's legal team cleared him 4 weeks ago, so I guess I'm hopeful that this is a false accusation and not legal "you can't prove it" trickery. The negative PR from the mainstream will outweigh any benefit he brings to the ring.

Personally, I'm tired of Brock. I guess his rumored involvement in the scandal is forgotten. ??

After Raw, we have Brock - Cena and Seth - Roman. Rhodes? Punk?

Also, Becky's promo was fire. Don't recall ever seeing that large of a pop from a promo.

That was a great line! Becky to Nikki Bella: "Don't talk about my hot husband! I'd talk about yours..... but I guess You can't see him" as she does the Cena wave.

Not a fan of the pricing for WWE. Not including the cost of a cable subscription to watch Smackdown...it's now going to cost me 37 a month to watch WWE?

That ain't happening.

Yeah hard pass for me as well. My son got into because we watched a lot of the catalog on Peacock. Seeing the PLEs were great. No way I'm paying for that. Our Canadian brethren will get all content (PLEs included) on Netflix Canada.

What happened to this angle? Was it officially scrapped? I don't recall seeing Brock show up after all of this happened. Hopefully it's done, but thought I'd check.

I was wondering the same. I missed a smackdown a few weeks ago moving my son to Cincinnati and thought maybe he showed up there, but now its been radio silence everywhere on him. They may be bowing to pushback.

I checked a few sites and haven't read anything one way or the other.

I am sure he will be back, but the way WWE books now is for pops on social media. It is OCD style of booking, and maybe something happens and they will circle back to it, and maybe they won't (see: The Rock this year). For as awful person as Vince is and for however much of his fastball he had lost, he still had a good general idea of how to book storylines. Triple H has shown, once the Vince storylines that he inherited ran their course, that he is pretty clueless when it comes to long range booking. And it seems like most matches have no imagination when it comes to the finishes...there will be a zillion false finishes and there will be a run-in at some point. You can set your watch to it.

One site I ended up reading is guessing that they may build something towards WrestlePalooza, as they want a big event for the first ESPN PLE.
